\Bears 30-24 over the
Patriots: This was the type of a game you want for a prime
time game: Both young QBs Drake Maye and Caleb Williams had over 300 yards
passing and two passing TDs. Maye did add a rushing TD and RB D’Andre Swift had
one for the Bears. The difference was Cairo Santos accounting for 12 of the
Bears points.
Steelers 16-10 over the
Saints: In Paris kicker Chris Boswell as his typical self
accounting for 10 of the Steelers points. His counterpart Daniel Carlson missed
one of his two field goals. Both QBs Aaron Rodgers and Tyler Shough each had
one TD pass but Shough had two turnovers.
Vikings 16-10 over the
Colts: The Vikings outscored the Colts 10-0 in the second
half to secure the close victory as kicker Will Reichard accounted for 10 of
their points. In total three field goals were missed and two turnovers
combined.
Browns 27-24 over the
Titans: The Browns won the game winning field goal as time
expired. RB Quinshon Judkins had two rushing TDs and QB Deshaun Watson had the
other. Tennessee RB Tony Pollard had three rushing TDs for 129 yards.
Falcons 29-20 over the
49ers: The 49ers were up 14-3 early and blew the lead as
Atlanta outscored them 26-6 to end the game. QB Michael Pennix had three
passing TDs and their kicker Nick Folk accounted for 11 points in spite of
missing an extra point. QB Brock Purdy had two interceptions, the team had
three fumbles and also missed an extra point. RB Christian McCaffrey did have
one of their three TDs but left the game with an injury.
Dolphins 28-25 over the
Jets:
Miami led for most of the game and never gave up the lead thanks to QB Malik
Willis who had two passing TDs and one rushing TD. RB Ollie Gordon had over 100
yards rushing with a rushing TD as well. QB Geno Smith did his best to almost
comeback with three passing TDs but it wasn’t enough plus their kicker missed a
field goal.
Buccaneers 43-13 over
the Panthers: QB Bryce Young had two interceptions
and one of the team’s two fumbles but that fumble was returned for a TD. Their
kicker also missed an extra point. In QB Baker Mayfield’s return he only had
one TD pass but it was his defense, special teams and run game that came to
play. RB Bucky Irving had over 100 yards rushing with two of the team’s three
rushing TDs and their kicker Chase McLaughlin accounted for 11 of their points.
Bengals 35-13 over the
Ravens: QB Joe Burrow had four passing TDs compared to QB
Tyler Huntley only having one. Baltimore was actually up 13-0 at halftime and
let the Bengals steamroll them 35-0 to close out the game.
Giants 27-21 over the
Texans(OT): The Giants scored the game winning TD in overtime
on a rushing TD their 4th of the game. RB Cam Skattebo after being
benched woke up and had one of those rushing TDs with 124 yards on the ground;
the rushing TDs were by QB Jameis Winston, Tyrone Tracy and Devin Singletary
with the game winner. QB CJ Stroud had two passing TDs for the Texans.
Broncos 30-16 over the
Cardinals: The Broncos led the whole game as QB Bo Nix had a
rushing and passing TD plus their kicker Wil Lutz accounted for 12 of their
points. Kicker Chad Ryland accounted for 10 of the Cardinals points.
Lions 20-17 over the
Packers: The Lions hit the game winning field as time
expired to beat their divisional rivals the Packers. Both QBS Jordan Love and
Jared Goff had two passing TDs. Packers kicker Trey Smack missed two field
goals.
Rams 35-21 over the
Raiders: QB Matthew Stafford threw three passing TDs and both
of his RBs had a rushing TD plus were close to 100 yards rushing. Give QB Kirk
Cousins credit when being down 28-6 entering the 4th quarter because
that is when he threw two passing TDs but his kicker missed a field goal.
Seahawks 20-3 over the
Chiefs: In what was supposed to be a revenge game for RB
Kenneth Walker turned into an embarrassing loss. Walker had 36 yards rushing,
QB Patrick Mahomes had two of the team’s three turnovers and their kicker
missed two field goals. QB Sam Darnold had one passing TD for Seattle and their
backup RB Emanuel Wilson had 100 yards rushing with a rushing TD.
Cowboys 38-21 over the
Eagles: QB Dak Presoctt had three passing TDs compared to
one by QB Tanner Mckee. While kicker Brandon Aubrey accounted for 12 of their
points compared to kicker Jake Elliott only accounting for three. RB Javonte
Williams had 155 yards rushing with a TD compared to RB Saquon Barkely only
rushing for 62 yards but had a TD too.
