2022 NFL Championship Round Recap:


Bengals 27-24 over the Chiefs (OT): Kansas City blew their huge lead of 18 and had to go to overtime on a game tying field goal, to eventually lose on a field goal after QB Patrick Mahomes threw his second interception of the game in overtime. Mahomes did have three TD passes and QB Joe Burrow had two TD passes.

Rams 20-17 over the 49ers: The Rams won the game Rams after they picked off QB Jimmy Garoppolo’s pass. This was after they had already hit the go ahead field goal earlier. QB Matthew Stafford had two TD passes both to WR Cooper Kupp who had 142 yards receiving and Garoppolo had two TD passes as well.

2022 NFL Divisional round recap:

 

Bengals 19-16 over the Titans: Evan McPherson hit the game winning field goal as time expired. Both QBS had turnovers as QB Joe Burrow only had one interception while QB Ryan Tannehill had three. Both of the team’s TD’s were rushing TDs.

49ers 13-10 over the Packers: Green Bay led all game until the 49ers blocked a punt and returned it for a TD to tie the game. Then former Bears kicker Robbie Gould hit the game winning field goal as time expired.

Rams 30-27 over the Buccaneers: The Rams blew a 27-3 lead but hit the game winning field goal as time expired. QB Tom Brady helped his team comeback from the deficit with one TD pass and RB Leonard Fournette in his return had two rushing TDs, but Brady threw one interception and had one fumble. They also missed a field goal and had two turnovers on downs. QB Matthew Stafford had two passing TDs, one to WR Cooper Kupp who had 189 yards receiving and Stafford had a rushing TD.

Chiefs 42-36 over the Bills (OT): QBs Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes traded TD passes in the 4th quarter until the Chiefs hit the game tying field goal to force overtime. In overtime Kansas City scored the game winning TD on Mahomes’ third passing TD his fourth total as he had one rushing TD, plus WR Mecole Hardman had a rushing TD. Allen finished with four passing TDs all of them to WR Gabriel Davis and RB Devin Singletary had a rushing TD.

2022 NFL Wild Card Recap:

 


Bengals 26-19 over the Raiders: QB Joe Burrow had his team up early and never looked back as he had two TD passes and his defense forced two fumbles, held QB Derek Carr to one TD pass and picked him off to seal the game.

Bills 47-17 over the Patriots: QB Josh Allen had five TD passes, two to his TE Dawson Knox and RB Devin Singletary had two rushing TDs. They became the first tram with seven or more TDs, no punts, and no turnovers in the game handing HC Bill Belichick his worst playoff lost ever. QB Mac Jones did have two TD passes but also had two interceptions.

Buccaneers 31-15 over the Eagles: QB Tom Brady had two TD passes and both of their backup RBs had rushing TDs as they were up 31-0 entering the 4th quarter. The Eagles only scored in the 4th quarter as QB Jalen Hurts had two interceptions and two of his team’s three fumbles.

49ers 23-17 over the Cowboys: The 49ers took a 16-7 entering half time and never looked back as they got two rushing TDs one by Elijah Mitchell and one by WR Debo Samuel. While QB Dak Prescott had an interception and a fumble.

Chiefs 42-21 over the Steelers: The Steelers recovered a fumble for a TD but that would be the last time they lead in the game. Kansas City had a barrage of scoring as QB Patrick Mahomes had five TD passes and TE Travis Kelce also threw a TD pass. QB Ben Roethlisberger threw two TD passes.

Rams 34-11 over the Cardinals:  The Rams went up 21-0 early thanks to QB Matthew Stafford throwing two TD passes with a rushing TD and they never looked back. While QB Kyler Murray had zero TD passes with two interceptions but one was returned for a TD.

NFL Recap Week 18 2021:

 

Chiefs 28-24 over the Broncos: The Broncos led for most of the game until the 4th quarter when they lost a fumble and it was returned for a TD then QB Patrick Mahomes converted for a two point conversion. QB Drew Lock had zero passing TDs for Denver but had two rushing TDs and his RB Melvin Gordon had a rushing TD.

Cowboys 51-26 over the Eagles: QB Dak Prescott had five TD passes and left the game early in the 4th quarter to rest for the playoffs. They got TDs from their 3rd, 4th and 5th string RBs. With the Eagles already clinching a playoffs spot they rested their starting QB and most of their starters.

Lions 37-30 over the Packers: The Packers already clinched the #1 seed, so they put in QB Jordan Love in the second half where he went on to throw two interceptions and the Lions had a TD and a field goal in between those interceptions. QB Jared Goff threw two TD passes and WR Tom Kennedy threw a TD pass. QB Aaron Rodgers had two TD passes as well.

Jaguars 26-11 over the Colts: QB Trevor Lawrence out played QB Carson Wentz with two TD passes with no turnovers compared to QB Carson Wentz having an interception and a fumble with one TD pass.

Washington 22-7 over the Giants: The Giants did not score a TD pass till late in the game as QB Jake Fromm had two interceptions with one being returned for a TD and had a fumble. Washington got their only offensive TD from RB Antonio Gibson.

Vikings 31-17 over the Bears: QB Kirk Cousins in his return from Covid19 had three TD passes while QB Andy Dalton had two interceptions with one being returned for a TD.

Titans 28-25 over the Texans: QB Ryan Tannehill threw four TD passes which helped them grab an early that they never relinquished despite three TD passes from QB David Mills for Houston.

Browns 21-16 over the Bengals: In the battle of backup QBs Case Keenum threw two TD passes compared to QB Brandon Allen throwing only one TD pass. RB D’Ernest Johsnon had the other Cleveland TD and the other Cincinnati TD was a fumble recovery returned for a TD.

Steelers 16-13 over the Ravens (OT): Ravens kicker Justin Tucker forced overtime but Steelers Kicker Chris Boswell hit the game winning field goal in overtime. QB Ben Roethlisberger in what could be his last regular season game threw one TD pass while RB Latavius Murray had the Ravens other TD.

Buccaneers 41-17 over the Panthers: Carolina took an early lead with the first TD but wouldn’t lead for rest of the game as QB Tom Brady had three TD passes and go two rushing TDs by a WR and 3rd string RB.

49ers 27-24 over the Rams (OT): Robbie Gould hit the game winning field goal in overtime but then QB Matthew Stafford threw an interception to the game. The MVP for the 49ers was WR Deebo Samuel as he had a rushing TD and threw a passing TD. QB Matthew Stafford did have three TD passes but threw two interceptions total.

Seahawks 38-30 over the Cardinals: QB Russell Wilson didn’t want to end the disappointing season without a bang so he produced with three passing TDs(two to WR Tyler Lockett), a rushing TD and third string RB Rashaad Penny had a rushing TD. QB Kyle Murray only had one passing TD to RB James Connor who also had a rushing TD but they also got a fumble recovery returned for a TD.

Dolphins 33-24 over the Patriots: QB Mac Jones only had one TD pass but he had a fumble and threw an interception that was returned for a TD. QB Tua Tagovailoa also only had one TD but no turnovers.

Saints 30-20 over the Falcons: The Saints pieced together three passing TDs from QBs Taysom Hill and Trevor Siemian while QB Matt Ryan only had one TD pass.

Bills 27-10 over the Jets: QB Josh Allen had two passing with one going to RB Devin Singletary who also had a rushing TD. QB Zach Wilson threw one TD pass the only Jets TD.

Raiders 35-32 over the Chargers (OT): The Chargers were down 20-14 entering the 4th quarter before QB Justin Herbert(three TD passes) did everything he could to lead a comeback which forced overtime. Then both teams traded field goals until the Raiders hit the final one to seal the game and an entry into the playoffs.

NFL Recap Week 17 2021:

 

Eagles 20-16 over Washington:  The Eagles were down early and rallied back to win with two field goals in the 4th quarter, and RB Boston Scott had two rushing TDs which helped them get back into the game. 

Rams 20-19 over the Ravens: QB Matthew Stafford had a game winning TD late in the fourth quarter while QB Tyler Huntley fumbled the ball away as time expired. Stafford had two total TDS and RB Sony Michel had a rushing TD for Los Angeles, while Baltimore only got a TD off a Stafford interception being returned for a TD. 

Buccaneers 28-24 over the Jets: QB Tom Brady threw a game winning TD pass as time expired and they converted on the two-point conversion to make the comeback official. Brady had three total TD passes and QB Zach Wilson had one TD pass but got two rushing TDs from his team. 

Titans 34-3 over the Dolphins: QB Ryan Tannehill had two TD passes and he got two rushing TDs from his RBs, while QB Tua Tagovailoa had zero TD passes with an interception and three fumbles. 

Patriots 50-10 over the Jaguars: QB Mac Jones had three TD passes and both of his RBs had two rushing TDs a piece while QB Trevor Lawrence had three interceptions. 

Raiders 23-20 over the Colts: The Raiders again kicked a game winning field goal as time expired. RB Josh Jacobs had a rushing TD and QB Derek Carr had a passing TD. QB Carson Wentz had one passing TD and RB Jonathan Taylor set the franchise record for most rushing yards in a single season with 1700+ and a rushing TD.

Bengals 34-31 over the Chiefs: The Bengals hit the game winning field goal as time expired. QB Joe Burrow had four TD passes, three to WR Ja’Marr Chase. QB Patrick Mahomes had two passing TDs and Darrel Williams had two rushing TDs.

Bears 29-3 over the Giants: RB David Montgomery had two rushing TDs and QB Andy Dalton had one passing TD, while former Bears QB Mike Glennon had zero TD passes, four fumbles and two interceptions. 

Bills 29-15 over the Falcons: QB Josh Allen did have zero TD passes but had two rushing TDs and RB Devin Singletary had two rushing TDs. RB Mike Davis had the only TD for Atlanta and they recovered a fumble in the end zone for a safety. 

49ers 23-7 over the Texans: Rookie QB Trey Lance had two TD passes while rookie QB David Mills only had one. 

Chargers 34-13 over the Broncos: QB Justin Herbert had two passing TDs and RB Austin Ekeler had one rushing TD, while it took till almost the end of the game for Denver to score a TD. The Chargers also got a 101 yard kick return TD.

Saints 18-10 over the Panthers: It was a battle of the kickers as the Saints kicker made all four of his field goals while Carolina’s kicker missed his two field goals. 

Cardinals 25-22 over the Cowboys: Arizona had a 22-7 lead entering the third quarter but was able to hang despite two TD passes from QB Dak Prescott. QB Kyler Murray had two passing TDs and Prescott had three but Dallas missing a field goal was crucial.

Seahawks 51-29 over the Lions: QB Russell Wilson had four TD passes with three going to WR DK Metcalf and RB Rashaad Penny had two rushing TDs. Backup QB Tim Boyle threw three interceptions and his kicker missed a field goal. 

Packers 37-10 over the Vikings: QB Aaron Rodgers threw two TD passes and RB AJ Dillon had two rushing TDs to help the Packers go up big early and never look back. Backup QB Sean Mannion threw Minnesota’s only TD.

Steelers 26-14 over the Browns: In what could be QB Ben Roethlisberger’s final home start he outplayed QB Baker Mayfield who had two interceptions with one late in the game. RB Najee Harris had 188 yards rushing with a rushing TD as he was the reason they won because his TD sealed the game.
