NFL Recap Week 12 2023:

 

Packers 29-22 over the Lions: The Packers went up 23-6 at halftime and never looked back. The Lions tried to come back and made it very close with two 2-point conversions on two TDs. QB Jordan Love had three TD passes. QB Jared Goff had two passing TDs but three fumbles with one being returned for a TD and their kicker missed an extra point. 

Cowboys 45-10 over the Commanders: QB Dak Prescott had four TD passes and RB Tony Pollard had one rushing TD. QB Sam Howell had zero TD passes with an interception that was returned for a TD. 

49ers 31-13 over the Seahawks: RB Christian McCaffrey ran all over Seattle for 114 yards with two rushing TDs, and QB Brock Purdy had one passing TD but one interception that was returned for a TD. QB Geno Smith had no TD passes with an interception. 

Dolphins 34-13 over the Jets: QB Tim Boyle had two fumbles and two interceptions with one being returned for a TD plus their kicker missed an extra point. RB Raheem Mostert had rushing TDs and QB Tua Tagovailoa had one passing TD but had an interception that was returned for a TD. 

Falcons 24-15 over the Saints: The Saints offense was so bad they only scored five goals and their kicker Blake Grupe even missed one, plus QB Derek Carr threw an interception that was returned for a TD. QB Desmond Ridder was the starter again and had two interceptions with one passing TD but it went to RB Bijan Robinson the rookie who also had a rushing TD too. 

Steelers 16-10 over the Bengals: In this divisional rival game there were 10 punts, two fumbles and one interception. The Steelers though had a rushing TD from RB Najee Harris who ran all over the Bengals' defense and controlled the time of possession by 15 minutes. 

Jaguars 24-21 over the Texans: The Texans missed a game tying field goal as time expired, the second one they missed in this game. Rookie QB CJ Stroud had two passing TDs with one rushing TD while QB Trevor Lawrence had one passing TD with a rushing TD. 

Colts 27-20 over the Buccaneers: RB Jonathan Taylor ran all over the Buccaneers for rushing TDs and QB Gardner Minshew also had a rushing TD. QB Baker Mayfield had two fumbles and an interception but had two passing TDs. 

Giants 10-7 over the Patriots: The Patriots missed the game tying field goal as time expired. Their offense had three fumbles and three interceptions combined while rookie QB Tommy DeVito had one passing TD for the Giants.  

Titans 17-10 over the Panthers: Rookie QB Bryce Young had no passing TDs with a fumble and fellow rookie QB Will Levis also had no passing TDs. It was the running backs as Derrick Henry had two passing TDs compared to Chubba Hubbard who had only one. 

Rams 37-14 over the CardinalsQB Matthew Stafford had four passing TDs and RB Royce Freeman had a rushing TD. QB Kyler Murray had only one passing TD with a rushing TD and their kicker missed a field goal. 

Broncos 29-12 over the Browns: QB Russell Wilson had one passing TD and a rushing TD compared to rookie QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson who only had one passing TD but had one of his team’s six fumbles. Backup QB PJ Walker even was sacked in the end zone for a safety. 

Chiefs 31-17 over the Raiders: QB Patrick Mahomes had two passing TDs and RB Isiah Pacheco had two rushing TDs. RB Josh Jacobs had one rushing TD and rookie QB Aidan O’Connell had one passing TD plus their kicker missed a field goal. 

Eagles 37-34 over the Bills (OT): The Bills hit a field goal in overtime but then the Eagles followed it up with a game winning TD to end the game. It was all QB Jalen Hurts three passing TDs and two rushing TDs. QB Josh Allen was again their whole offense with two passing TDs and two rushing TDs but their kicker missed two field goals. 

Ravens 20-10 over the ChargersQB Justin Herbert had one interception and one of his team’s three fumbles. WR Zay Flowers had one rushing and receiving TD for the Ravens. 

Bears 12-10 over the VikingsCairo Santos kicked the game winning field goal as time expired to seal the victory for the Bears. Santos accounted for all 12 of their points. QB Josh Dobbs had four interceptions.

NFL Recap Week 11 2023:

 

Ravens 34-20 over the Bengals: In this divisional rival matchup of good teams the Ravens came out on top as QB Lamar Jackson had two passing TDs and RB Gus Edwards had two rushing TDs. The bad news besides losing this game for Cincinnati is losing QB Joe Burrow for the season with a wrist injury. Baltimore also had news as they lost TE Mark Andrews for the season with an ankle injury.

Cowboys 33-10 over the Panthers: QB Dak Prescott had two passing TDs and RB Tony Pollard had one rushing TD for Dallas. Rookie QB Bryce Young did have one TD pass but had one of his team’s two fumbles, but his interception was returned for a TD.

Browns 13-10 over the Steelers: The Browns kicked the game winning field goal before time expired. Both teams had no passing TDs but each had a rushing TD and there were 17 total punts.

Lions 31-26 over the Bears: The Bears were up 26-14 with three minutes left in the 4th quarter but their defense blew it by letting the Lions get two TDs, and the Bears offense fumbled the ball away where it was returned for a safety. QB Justin Fields in his return did have one passing TD with over 100 yards rushing. QB Jared Goff did have two passing TDs but with three interceptions and both RBs David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs had rushing TDs.

Packers 23-20 over the Chargers: QB Jordan Love threw one of his two passing TDs as the go ahead TD. QB Justin Herbert also had two passing TDs but had one of his team’s two fumbles.

Texans 21-16 over the Cardinals: RB Devin Singletary ran all over the Cardinals for 112 yards with a rushing TD and rookie QB CJ Stroud had two passing TDs. QB Kyler Murray had both a rushing TD and passing TD.

Jaguars 34-14 over the Titans: QB Trevor Lawrence had two passing TDs with two rushing TDs while his counterpart rookie QB Will Levis only had two passing TDs.

Dolphins 20-13 over the Raiders: Rookie QB Aidan O’Connell threw two of his three interceptions in the 4th quarter which sealed the game for Miami. QB Tua Tagovailoa had two passing TDs.

Giants 31-19 over the Commanders: Rookie QB Tommy DeVito had three passing TDs while QB Sam Howell had three interceptions with one being returned for a TD, and his team had four fumbles plus their kicker missed an extra point.

49ers 27-14 over the Buccaneers:  QB Brock Purdy had three passing TDs while QB Baker Mayfield had only one TD pass with a fumble and an interception.

Bills 32-6 over the Jets: QB Josh Allen had three passing TDs while QB Zach Wilson had only one TD pass and threw one of his team’s interceptions plus his team had two fumbles.

Rams 17-16 over the Seahawks: The Rams hit the go-ahead field goal which turned out to be the game winning field goal due to the Seahawks missing their game winning field goal attempt. RB Darrell Henderson had a rushing TD and QB Matthew Stafford in his return from injury had one passing TD.

Broncos 21-20 over the Vikings: QB Russell Wilson threw the go ahead TD pass towards the end of the game and kicker Will Lutz accounted for 15 of their points. QB Josh Dobbs did his best with a rushing and a passing TD but threw an interception with three of his team’s four fumbles.

Eagles 21-17 over the Chiefs: The Eagles were down 17-7 entering halftime but QB Jalen Hurts had two rushing TDs and RB D’Andre Swift had a rushing TD to complete the comeback. QB Patrick Mahomes did have two passing TDs but threw an interception and TE Travis Kelce had a fumble.

NFL Recap Week 10 2023:

 

Bears 16-13 over the Panthers: In a battle for the #1 pick in the draft this game had 11 punts, a missed field goal, a fumble and no passing TDs. It was former Panther RB D’Onta Foreman who had a rushing TD for the Bears and the Panthers did get a 79 yard punt return TD.

Colts 10-6 over the Patriots: In Germany it was the Colts who had the only TD which was by RB Jonathan Taylor. Both Patriots QBS had interceptions and the team had a fumble too.

Browns 33-31 over the Ravens: The Browns were losing 31-17 in the 4th quarter but came back to win as QB Deshaun Watson threw a TD pass and their defense picked off QB Lamar Jackson and returned it for a TD (the second interception of the day), then hit the game winning field goal. The Ravens had two rushing TDs (plus an interception returned for a TD) but missed a field goal and the Browns had one rushing TD but missed an extra point.

Texans 30-27 over the Bengals: Newly signed kicker Matt Ammendola hit the game winning field goal as time expired to upset the Bengals on their home field. QB Joe Burrow didn’t have his best game even with two passing TDs because he had two interceptions and a fumble. Rookie QB CJ Stroud came back down to earth with only one TD pass/one rushing TD with an interception/two fumbles.

49ers 34-3 over the Jaguars: QB Brock Purdy had three TD passes and WR Debo Samuel in his return from injury had a rushing TD. QB Trevor Lawrence had no passing TDs with a fumble and two interceptions.

Vikings 27-19 over the Saints: QB Josh Dobbs did it again willing his team to victory with a passing and rushing TD. QB Derek Carr left the game with an injury for the Saints and like always QB Jameis Winston dazzled with two passing TDs but also threw two costly interceptions in the 4th quarter.

Steelers 23-19 over the Packers: QB Jordan Love might have two passing TDs but threw costly interceptions in the 4th quarter. The Steelers RB Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren ran all over the Packers defense as they got two rushing TDS.

Buccaneers 20-6 over the Titans: QB Baker Mayfield had two passing TDs while rookie QB Will Levis had no passing TDs, plus the Titans missed a field goal.

Cardinals 25-23 over the Falcons:  The Cardinals won a game winning field goal as time expired. Both QBs Kyler Murray and rookie Clayton Tune had rushing TDs while kicker Matt Prater accounted for 13 of their points. Atlanta also had both QBs have TD’s, one passing by Taylor Heincke and Desmond Ridder with a rushing TD.

Lions 41-38 over the Chargers: The Lions run game was the true MVP in this game as in his return from injury RB David Montgomery had 116 yards rushing with a rushing TD, and rookie Jahmyr Gibbs had two rushing TDs. QB Jared Goff did have two passing TDs as well. QB Justin Herbert did his best with four passing TDs but it wasn’t enough.

Cowboys 49-17 over the Giants: The Giants were down 28-0 at halftime and couldn’t come back VS Dallas as QB Dak Prescott had four TD passes with a rushing TD, and got two rushing TDs with one from WR CeeDee Lamb. Rookie QB Tommy Devito did have two passing TDs for New York.

Seahawks 29-26 over the Commanders: The Seahawks hit the game winning field goal as time expired after QB Sam Howell threw one of his three TD passes to help Washington tie the game just before. QB Geno Smith had two passing TDs for Seattle.

Raiders 16-12 over the Jets: QB Zach Wilson threw an interception with a minute left on top of his fumble he already had, and they were only in this game because kicker Greg Zuerlein accounted for all of the points. Rookie QB Adrian O’Connell had one passing TD which was in crunch time in the 4th quarter.

Broncos 24-22 over the Bills: The Broncos hit the game winning field goal as time expired. QB Russell Wilson outplayed QB Josh Allen as he had two passing TDs with no turnovers, but Allen had one TD pass/one rushing TD but also two interceptions and a fumble.

NFL Recap Week 9 2023:

 

Steelers 20-16 over the Titans: QB Kenny Pickett threw the go ahead winning TD to WR Dionte Johnson which was untimely followed up by a turnover on downs and an interception by the Titans. QB Will Levis fell back down to earth having no TDs with that interception.

Chiefs 21-14 over the Dolphins: QB Patrick Mahomes had two passing TDs and their defense forced WR Tyreek Hill to fumble which they returned for a TD which put them up 21-0 at halftime. That was too much for QB Tua Tagovailoa and his offense to overcome in Germany.

Vikings 31-28 over the Falcons: QB Josh Dobbs who was just traded to Minnesota and wasn’t even starting threw the game winning TD pass. Dobbs had two passing TDs/ a rushing TD in place of rookie QB Jaren Hall who left the game with a concussion. QB Taylor Heincke had a passing TD but an interception. This game was only close because kicker Younghoe Koo accounted for 14 of their points.

Ravens 37-3 over the Seahawks: The Ravens ran all over the Seattle defense as RB Gus Edwards had two rushing TDs and RB Keaton Mitchell had 138 yards rushing with a rushing TD, plus WR Odell Beckham Jr .caught a TD pass on his birthday. QB Geno Smith had no TD passes with an interception and a fumble.

Browns 27-0 over the CardinalsQB Deshaun Watson in his return from injury had two passing TDs and RB Kareem Hunt had a rushing TD. The Browns defense shut out the Cardinals and rookie QB Clayton Tune by intercepting him twice/forcing him to fumble.

Packers 20-3 over the Rams: QB Jordan Love had one passing TD and RB Aaron Jones had one rushing TD. Veteran backup QB Brett Rypien had two fumbles with an interception plus no TD pass and they missed a field goal.

Texans 38-37 over the Buccaneers: Rookie QB CJ Stroud had five passing TDs with one being the game winning TD pass. QB Baker Mayfield had two passing TDs and RB Rachaad White had two rushing TDs, but they had two fumbles with one to end the game.

Commanders 20-17 over the Patriots: QB Mac Jones threw an interception to end the game but had a TD pass just like QB Sam Howell.

Saints 24-17 over the Bears: QB Derek Carr had two passing TDs and QB/TE Taysom Hill had a passing TD. Rookie QB Tyson Bagent had three interceptions, one of his team’s fumbles and their kicker missed a field goal.

Colts 27-13 over the Panthers: Once the Colts went up 20-3 at halftime it was over as QB Gardner Minshew had a passing TD and the Colts defense picked off rookie QB CJ Stroud three times with two being returned for TDs by CB Kenny Moore.

Raiders 30-6 over the Giants: Even with QB Daniel Jones back from injury and the Raiders firing their HC Josh McDaniels/OC Mike Lombardi/their GM/benching, QB Jimmy Garoppolo could only score six points. Las Vegas RB Josh Jacobs ran all over the Giants defense for rushing TDs and WR Jakobi Meyers had one rushing TD.

Eagles 28-23 over the Cowboys: The Cowboys had two fumbles with one to end the game as it ruined the three passing TD day by QB Dak Prescott. QB Jalen Hurts had two passing TDs with a rushing TD and RB Kenneth Gainwell had a rushing TD too.

Bengals 24-18 over the Bills: QB Josh Allen again had to do it all by himself with a passing and a rushing TD with an interception and his team had a fumble. QB Joe Burrow had two passing TDs and RB Joe Mixon had a rushing TD for the Bengals.

Chargers 27-6 over the Jets: RB Austin Ekeler had two rushing TDs and the Chargers got an 87 yard punt return TD. QB Zach Wilson had three of his team’s four fumbles with no TD passes for New York.

NFL Recap Week 8 2023:


 Bills 24-18 over the Buccaneers: It was all QB Josh Allen who had two passing TDs with a rushing TD. QB Baker Mayfield did have two TD passes but the kicker missed a field goal.

Panthers 15-13 over Texans: The Panthers hit the game winning field goal as time expired to win their first game of the year. Kicker Eddie Pinero accounted for 9 of the Carolina points. Rookie QB CJ Stroud had zero TD passes but had a rushing TD while rookie QB Bryce Young had one passing TD.

Cowboys 43-20 over the Rams: QB Dak Prescott had four TD passes with two going to WR CeeDee Lamb. QB Matthew Stafford had one TD plus an interception which was returned for a TD, but the worse thing is he left with a thumb injury.

Vikings 24-10 over the Packers: QB Kirk Cousins had two passing TDs but they lost him for probably the whole season with an Achilles injury.  QB Jordan Love had one passing TD with an interception plus one of his team’s two fumbles. Vikings kicker Greg Joseph missed two field goals.

Saints 38-27 over the Colts: QB Derek Carr had two passing TDs, RB Alvin Kamara had a rushing TD/one receiving TD, and QB/TE Taysom Hill also had two rushing TDs. QB Gardner Minshew only had two passing TDs but with an interception.

Dolphins 31-17 over the Patriots: QB Tua Tagovailoa had three passing TDs and RB Raheem Mostert had a rushing TD. QB Mac Jones only had two passing TDs.

Jets 13-10 over the Giants (OT): The Giants missed a field goal late in the 4th quarter then the Jets tied it up with a field goal to send it to overtime. They would eventually hit the game winning field goal to win. The Giants were already without starting QB Daniel Jones who had a neck injury but then QB Tyrod Taylor left the game with a rib injury that sent him to the hospital. 3rd string QB Tommy DeVito had one rushing TD while QB Zach Wilson had two fumbles with one TD pass.

Jaguars 20-10 over the Steelers: The Steelers missed a field goal, had two fumbles and QB Kenny Pickett left the game with a rib injury where his backup QB Mitchell Trubisky threw two interceptions. QB Trevor Lawrence didn’t have to do much with one TD pass.          

Titans 28-23 over the Falcons: Rookie QB Will Levis who started in place of injured veteran QB Ryan Tannehill had four TD passes. Atlanta pulled QB Desmond Ridder for backup QB Tyler Heinicke who had one passing TD, and rookie RB Bijan Robinson had one rushing TD.

Eagles 38-31 over the Commanders: Both QBS had four passing TDs (Jalen Hurts & Sam Howell) the difference was the Eagles getting a rushing TD from D’Andre Swift.

Seahawks 24-20 over the Browns: QB Geno Smith threw the game winning TD with less than a minute left in the game. He had a sloppy game with a fumble and two interceptions but had two total TD passes. The Browns backup QB PJ Walker threw one TD pass but had two interceptions with a fumble.

Ravens 31-24 over the CardinalsRB Gus Edwards ran all over the Cardinals with three rushing TDs and QB Lamar Jackson had one passing TD. QB Josh Dobbs did his best being down 21-7 in the 4th quarter by having two passing TDs/one rushing TD in the game but had a fumble with two interceptions.

Broncos 24-9 over the Chiefs: QB Patrick Mahomes battling the flu had zero TD passes with two interceptions and one of his team’s three fumbles. QB Russell Wilson had three passing TDs.

Bengals 31-17 over the 49ers: QB Joe Burrow had three passing TDs and RB Joe Mixon had a rushing TD. QB Brock Purdy who had a concussion in the previous game started anyways had a fumble with two interceptions.  RB Christian McCaffrey had a receiving and a rushing TD.

Chargers 30-13 over the Bears: QB Justin Herbert threw three TD passes while Bears QB Tyson Bagent threw zero TD passes with two interceptions.

Lions 26-14 over the Raiders: QB Jared Goff threw one TD pass but threw an interception that was returned for a TD. While QB Jimmy Garopppolo had zero TD passes with an interception.
