NFL Recap Week 12 2021:

 

Bears 16-14 over the Lions: The Bears hit the game winning field goal as time expired in a game they barely survived to outlast the Lions. QB Andy Dalton had one TD pass but an interception and their kicker missed a field goal. QB Jared Goff came back from injury where he had two TD passes.

Raiders 36-33 over the Cowboys(OT): The Raiders hit the game winning field goal in overtime to beat the Cowboys. QB Derek Carr had a passing TD, backup QB Marcus Mariota had a rushing TD, and RB Josh Jacobs had a rushing TD for Las Vegas. QB Dak Prescott had two TD passes, backup RB Tony Pollard had a 100 yard kick return TD, and RB Ezekiel Elliot had one rushing TD for Dallas. There were 28 combined penalties between them the most since 2016.

Bills 31-6 over the Saints: QB Josh Allen had four TD passes and two interceptions. QB Trevor Semien had one TD pass but also an interception, which is all that the Saints could muster as they also failed to convert on a two point conversion too.

Falcons 21-14 over the Jaguars: RB Cordarrelle Paterson came back from injury to power the Falcons to a win with 108 yards rushing and two rushing TDs. QB Trevor Lawrence did throw the only TD for Jacksonville but had an interception and a fumble.

Bengals 41-10 over the Steelers: RB Joe Mixon had two rushing TDs, QB Joe Burrow had a rushing and passing TD, and the defense forced two fumbles and picked off QB Ben Roethlisberger twice with one being returned for a TD.

Patriots 36-13 over the Titans: QB Mac Jones had two passing TDs both to WR Kendrick Bourne, and RB Damien Harris had a rushing TD. Their defense forced five fumbles, picked off Ryan Tannehill once and the Titans kicker missed an extra point and a field goal.

Dolphins 33-10 over the Panthers: RB Miles Gaskin had two rushing TDs and QB Tua Tagovailoa had a passing TD. While their defense picked off QB Cam Newton twice plus his backup once, and they blocked a punt in which they returned it for a TD.

Giants 13-7 over the Eagles: QB Jalen Hurts had zero TD passes with three interceptions while QB Daniel Jones threw one TD pass with the rest of the scoring being field goals and even then the Giants kicker missed one.

Jets 21-14 over the Texans: QB Zach Wilson in his return from injury had zero passing TDs but had a rushing TD, and 4th string RB Austin Walter had a rushing TD. QB Tyrod Taylor did have two passing TDs but had a fumble, with an interception, and their kicker missed a field goal.

Buccaneers 38-31 over the Colts: RB Leonard Fournette scored a game winning rushing TD (his third rushing TD & his fourth TD of the day plus RB Ronald Jones had a rushing TD too), as time was expiring then the Colts followed it up with an interception to end the game. QB Carson Wentz did have three TD passes but two interceptions with one of his team’s three fumbles and RB Jonathan Taylor had a rushing TD.

Broncos 28-13 over the Chargers: QB Teddy Bridgewater had a passing and a rushing TD plus backup RB Javonte Williams added a rushing TD. QB Justin Herbert did have two passing TDs but with two interceptions one being returned for a TD, and their kicker missed a field goal.

Packers 36-28 over the Rams: QB Matthew Stafford had three passing TDs but one interception which was returned for a TD, while QB Aaron Rodgers had two passing TDs with a rushing TD but no interceptions.

49ers 34-26 over the Vikings: The 49ers were led by the ground game as RB Eli Mitchell had 133 yards rushing with a rushing TD, and WR Debo Samuel had two rushing TDs plus QB Jimmy Garoppolo had one passing TD. QB Kirk Cousins did have two TD passes but with an interception/his team had two fumbles and backup RB Alexander Mattison had a rushing TD. The Vikings also had a 99 yard kick return TD too. 

Ravens 16-10 over the Browns: The Ravens won in spite of four interceptions from QB Lamar Jackson due to the Browns having two fumbles and a missed field goal. 

Washington 17-15 over the Seahawks: Washington led 17-9 in the third quarter and never looked back despite a comeback attempt by QB Russell Wilson. Wilson had two TD passes with no turnovers on his birthday but it wasn’t enough as they didn’t convert the two point conversion to tie. There were 13 punts but the most exciting play was the extra point that was blocked with Seattle recovering it to score two.

NFL Recap Week 11 2021:

 

Patriots 25-0 over the Falcons: The Falcons threw four straight interceptions to end the game with one being returned for a TD, as all three QBs for the Falcons had interceptions (Matt Ryan two, Josh Rosen one and Feleipe Franks one). They also missed a field goal. Nick Folk accounted for 13 of the 25 points for the Patriots.

Eagles 40-29 over the Saints: QB Jalen Hurts had three rushing TDs and his defense forced two fumbles, and had two interceptions with one being returned for a TD. QB Trevor Semien did have three passing TDs and one rushing TD.

Dolphins 24-17 over the Jets: QB Tua Tagoviloa had two passing TDs and WR Jaylen Waddle had a rushing TD. The Jets missed two field goals and had a fumble but QB Joe Flacco had two passing TDs.

Washington 27-21 over the Panthers: Both QBs Tyler Heineke had three TDs(all passing) and Cam Newton(two passing and one rushing), but the difference was Carolina had two turnovers on downs in the 4th quarter while Washington had two field goals.

Colts 41-15 over the Bills: RB Jonathan Taylor is on fire this time he had 185 yards rushing and four rushing TDs plus he caught QB Carson Wentz’s TD pass. QB Josh Allen did have two passing TDs but had one fumble with two interceptions, Bills QB Mitchell Trubisky had an interception and their kicker missed two field goals.

Browns 13-10 over the Lions: 11 punts, four interceptions and a missed field goal as it was the battle of who made the least mistakes where QB Baker Mayfield had one passing TD, plus WR Jarvis Landry had a rushing TD. Backup QB Tim Boyle had 0 TD passes in place of Jared Goff.

49ers 30-10 over Jaguars: QB Jimmy Garropplo had two passing TDs and WR Debo Samuel had a rushing TD. QB Trevor Lawrence had zero TD passes and one of his team’s two fumbles. RB James Robinson had the only TD for Jacksonville.

Texans 22-13 over the Titans: QB Ryan Tannehill had four interceptions and two of his four team fumbles. QB Tyrod Taylor had two rushing TDs for Houston.

Vikings 34-31 over the Packers: The Vikings hit the game winning field goal as time expired. QB Aaron Rodgers did have four TDs and Kirk Cousins had three TDs plus RB Dalvin Cook added a rushing TD.

Ravens 16-13 over Bears: In a game where both starting QBS either didn’t start(Lamar Jackson) or left due to injury(Justin Fields) it was an epic fourth quarter as QB Andy Dalton threw a Hail Mary pass on 4th down to WR Marquis Goodwin for a TD to take the lead. Then Ravens RB Devonta Freeman scored the game winning TD.

Bengals 32-13 over the Raiders: RB Joe Mixon had two rushing TDs and QB Joe Burrow had one passing TD, but it was their kicker who accounted for 14 of the 32 points. QB Derek Carr had one TD pass late in the 4th quarter.

Cardinals 23-13 over the Seahawks: QB Russell Wilson had another bad day with zero TD passes and two fumbles while his counterpart QB Colt McCoy had two passing TDs. RB James Connor added a rushing TD for Arizona but it was a lot closer because their kicker missed an extra point and two field goals.

Chiefs 19-9 over the Cowboys: QB Dak Prescott had zero TD passes with two interceptions, two fumbles but QB Patrick Mahomes wasn’t that much better with zero TD passes, one interception and a fumble. In his return from injury RB Clyde Edwards Helaire had a rushing TD and TE Travis Kelce also had a rushing TD. 

Chargers 43-37 over the Steelers: QB Justin Herbert threw his 3rd TD pass of day in the 4th quarter to seal the game. RB Austin Ekeler caught two of those TD passes and two rushing TDs. QB Ben Roethlisberger in his return had three TD passes and RB Najee Harris had a rushing TD.

Buccaneers 30-10 over the Giants: QB Tom Brady had two TD passes and RB Ronald Jones had a rushing TD while QB Daniel Jones had two interceptions both being in the 2nd half.

NFL Recap Week 10 2021:

 

Dolphins 22-10 over the Ravens:There were sixteen punts, four total fumbles, one being returned by Miami for a TD,

and a missed field goal by Justin Tucker,

plus QB Lamar Jackson threw an interception late

to seal it for Miami. The story was QB Tua Tagovaolia

had a finger injury on his throwing hand but

came in for his backup who left with an injury

of his own and scored a rushing TD to help put them ahead.

Patriots 45-7 over the Browns: QB Mac Jones had three passing TDs and his backup QB Brian Hoyer even had a passing TD, plus third string RB Rhamondre Stevenson had two rushing TDs. The only TD for the Browns was the first one scored with a passing TD by Baker Mayfield but he had two turnovers and he left with an injury.

Steelers 17-17 tie with Lions(OT): QB Jared Goff had zero TD passes and his kicker missed an extra point and a field goal. Third string and fourth string RBs had the two TDs for Detroit. Without QB Ben Roethlisberger who was placed on the Covid19 list his backup Mason Rudolph had one passing TD but an interception, plus the team had two fumbles both in overtime.

Colts 23-17 over the Jaguars: RB Jonathan Taylor is still on fire as he had over 100 yards rushing and a rushing TD, and his defense blocked a punt which was returned for a TD while forcing two fumbles by QB Trevor Lawrence. The Jaguars also missed a field goal and an extra point as well.

Titans 23-21 over the Saints: The Titans were up 20-6 entering the third quarter and didn’t look back despite a comeback attempt from QB Trevor Semnien from one of his two TD passes and Mark Ingram having a rushing TD. What killed the Saints was a fumble and two missed extra points. QB Ryan Tannehill had a passing and rushing TD for the Titans.

Cowboys 43-3 over the Falcons: QB Dak Prescott had two passing TDs with a rushing TD and RB Ezekiel Elliot had two rushing TDs. QB Matt Ryan had two interceptions with a fumble and backup QB Josh Rosen had an interception too, plus the Cowboys blocked a punt that was returned for a TD.

Washington 29-19 over the Buccaneers: QB Tom Brady did have two passing TDs but he had two interceptions and his kicker missed an extra point. Washington’s RB Antonio Gibson had two rushing TDs, one to seal the game and QB Tyler Heinicke had a passing TD.

Bills 45-17 over the Jets: QB Josh Allen rebounded from a bad week to throw two TD passes and all three of his running backs had TDs, Devin Singletary, Zach Moss and Matt Breida who also caught a TD pass. QB Mike White came back to earth with zero TD passes and four interceptions where he was relieved by QB Joe Flacco who threw a TD pass towards the end of game.

Panthers 34-10 over the Cardinals: QB Colt McCoy had an interception and a fumble plus his backup had a fumble. Newly signed QB Cam Newton came in and threw a TD pass and a rushing TD in place of second string QB PJ Walker who had two fumbles and an interception.

Vikings 27-20 over the Chargers: In a back and forth game the Vikings RB Dalvin Cook sealed the game with a rushing TD after QB Kirk Cousins threw a TD, one of his two to take the lead. QB Justin Herbert had one passing TD but with an interception.

Eagles 30-13 over the Broncos: QB Jalen Hurts had two passing TDs while QB Teddy Brigewater had zero TDs and Denver missed a field goal. The Eagles recovered a fumble for a TD too.

Packers 17-0 over the Seahawks: In a battle of two star QBS returning they both had zero TD passes, as Russell Wilson had two interceptions and Aaron Rodgers had one interception. The only scoring came from backup RB AJ Dillon who had two rushing TDs. 

Chiefs 41-14 over the Raiders: QB Patrick Mahomes threw five TD passes, throwing for over 400 yards with two of them going to WR Tyreek Hill. QB Derek Carr only had two TD passes but with one interception.

49ers 31-10 over the Rams: QB Jimmy Garoppolo had two passing TDs with one to WR Debo Samuel who also had a rushing TD. QB Matthew Stafford had two interceptions with one TD pass, but one of those interceptions was returned for a TD.

NFL Recap Week 9 2021:

 

Colts 45-30 over the Jets: QB Carson Wentz had three TD passes, RB Jonathan Taylor had two rushing TDs, and RB Nyheim Hines had a rushing TD. The Jets QB Mike White left off where he was the previous week with a TD pass but left the game with a forearm injury, and the 3rd string QB Josh Johnson did his best with three second half TD passes but threw an interception late in the 4th quarter to seal the game for the Colts.

Falcons 27-25 over the Saints: Backup QB Trevor Siemien did his best throwing two 4th quarter TD passes in a comeback attempt, but it wasn’t enough as the Falcons hit the game winning field goal as time expired. QB Matt Ryan had two TD passes and a rushing TD to help put the Falcons up 17-6 entering the fourth quarter.

Broncos 30-16 over the Cowboys: The Broncos went up 19-0 entering the 4th quarter and never looked back as QB Teddy Bridgewater had one passing and one rushing TD, plus RB Melvin Gordon had a rushing TD. The Cowboys didn’t score till nearly the end of the 4th quarter on two QB Dak Prescott TDs.

Patriots 24-9 over the Panthers: QB Sam Darnold had three interceptions with one being returned for a TD, zero TD passes and one of his team’s two fumbles. Which meant the Patriots offense didn’t have to do too much as QB Mac Jones had one passing TD and RB Damien Harris had a rushing TD.

Ravens 34-31 over the Vikings (OT): The Ravens hit the game winning field goal in overtime. QB Kirk Cousins had two passing and one rushing TD for the Vikings while QB Lamar Jackson had three passing TDs. RB Le’Veon Bell added a rushing TD for Baltimore and the Vikings had a 98 yard kick return TD.

Browns 41-16 over the Bengals: QB Baker Mayfield had two TD passes and RB Nick Chubb had two rushing TDs. The Browns defense forced four fumbles, had five sacks and picked off QB Joe Burrow twice, one being returned for a TD.

Jaguars 9-6 over the Bills: This was the game where the team with the least mistakes made came out on top as Jacksonville’s only mistakes were one fumble and one missed field goal. QB Josh Allen had two interceptions and one of his team’s two fumbles. LB Josh Allen had one of those interceptions, recovered one of those fumbles and sacked Allen once.

Dolphins 19-7 over the Texans: QB Tyrod Taylor came back from injury for the Texans where he threw zero TDs and three interceptions. Backup QB Jacoby Brissett wasn’t that much better with two interceptions, one of his team’s three fumbles for Miami, but had one passing TD and RB Miles Gaskin had one rushing TD.

Giants 23-16 over the Raiders: QB Derek Carr had two interceptions with one being returned for a TD, one of his team’s two fumbles, and the kicker missed a field goal. QB Daniel Jones had one TD pass.

Chargers 27-24 over the Eagles: The Chargers hit a game winning field goal as time expired. QB Justin Herbert had two passing TDs and a rushing TD. QB Jalen Hurts only had one TD pass, but two of his running backs had rushing TDs.

Chiefs 13-7 over the Packers: QB Jordan Love in his NFL debut had one interception, one fumble with one TD pass, but his kicker missed a field goal and one was blocked. While QB Patrick Mahomes had one TD pass with no turnovers.

Cardinals 31-17 over the 49ers: RB James Connor had two rushing TDs, caught one TD pass, plus the third stringer had a rushing TD to support backup QB Colt McCoy who had one passing TD. QB Jimmy Garoppolo did throw two TD passes, but he had one interception and his team had two fumbles.

Titans 28-16 over the Rams: QB Matthew Stafford had two interceptions with one being returned for a TD. In Derrick Henry’s absence newly signed RB Adrian Peterson had a rushing TD and QB Ryan Tannehill had a rushing TD to go with his passing TD.

Steelers 29-27 over the Bears: The Bears overcame an interception and a fumble to make a comeback attempt by overcoming a 14-3 deficit entering half time with two offensive TDs and a fumble recovery for a TD. It wasn’t enough as the Steelers held on by adding on three field goals in the 4th quarter and Chicago missed a potential game winning field goal as time expired.

NFL Recap Week 8 2021:

 

Packers 24-21 over the Cardinals:QB Kyler Murray threw an interception in the final seconds to seal the game for the Packers.

QB Aaron Rodgers had two TD passes and RB Aaron Jones had a rushing TD.

Murray had two total interceptions and one fumble, and if it weren’t for the

RBs who had three rushing TDs combined it wouldn’t have been this close.

Jets 34-31 on the Bengals: Backup QB Mike White threw the go ahead TD pass, his second TD of the 4th quarter (3 total), and he caught the two point conversion. QB Joe Burrow did throw three TD passes for the Bengals, as RB Joe Mixon caught one of those TD passes and had a rushing TD.

Bills 26-11 over the Dolphins: QB Josh Allen had two passing TDs and one rushing TD, while QB Tua Tagovailoa had no passing TDs and one interception but had a rushing TD.

49ers 33-22 over the Bears: The Bears were up 16-15 all the way into the 4th quarter but their defense let QB Jimmy Garoppolo score two rushing TDs, and their RB Eli Mitchell had 100 yards with a rushing TD. Bears QB Justin Fields rushed for over 100 yards, and had 175 yards passing with 1 TD.

Steelers 15-10 over the Browns: There were eight punts, four turnovers on downs, two field goals, and two fumbles for these teams combined. QB Ben Roethlisberger threw one TD pass, and RB Najee Harris had a rushing TD.

Rams 38-22 over the Texans: The Rams went up 38-0 entering the 4th quarter and never looked back despite the Texans comeback attempt scoring 22 points in the 4th quarter. QB Matthew Stafford had three passing TDs, one to RB Darrell Henderson who also had a rushing TD plus WR Robert Woods had a rushing TD on top of his receiving TD. QB David Mills had two passing TDs but with an interception, plus their kicker missed a field goal.

Panthers 19-13 over the Falcons: QB Matt Ryan had one fumble, two interceptions, one that sealed the day in the fourth quarter, and they missed a field goal. Carolina got most of their scoring from their kicker who accounted for 13 of their points.

Eagles 44-6 over the Lions: The Eagles running backs did all the scoring with two rushing TDs each by Jordan Howard and Boston Scott.  The Lions fumbled the ball three times but one was returned for a TD.

Titans 34-31 over the Colts(OT): QB Carson Wentz threw his second interception but it was in overtime that led to the Titans scoring the game winning field goal. Both QBs Wentz and Ryan Tannehill had three TD passes with two interceptions, but Wentz’s were costly as the first one was returned for a TD.

Patriots 27-24 over the Chargers: QB Justin Herbert threw two interceptions, one being in the 4th quarter that was returned for a TD, and a two point conversion giving the Patriots the lead which they would hold onto for the rest of the 4th quarter. The Patriots had one rushing TD, but the rest of their scoring outside of the pick six came from their kicker who accounted for 13 of their points.  

Seahawks 31-7 over the Jaguars: QB Geno Smith had two passing TDs and a rushing TD, while all that Jacksonville could muster was one TD pass by QB Trevor Lawrence in the 4th quarter.

Broncos 17-10 over Washington: QB Tyler Heincke had two interceptions and two fumbles, plus their kicker missed two field goals. QB Teddy Bridgewater had one TD pass and his RB Melvin Gordon had a rushing TD plus he caught that TD pass.

Saints 36-27 over Buccaneers: QB Tom Brady did have four TD passes but threw two interceptions with one being returned for a TD, which sealed the deal as New Orleans had taken the lead on a field goal earlier. QB Jamies Winston and backup QB Trevor Semeien both had passing TDS while RB Alvin Kamara had a rushing TD.

Cowboys 20-16 over the Vikings: The Vikings led 10-3 entering halftime but eventually gave up the lead to the backup QB for the Cowboys Cooper Rush, who threw two TD passes one being the go ahead TD. Rush had two turnovers and they missed a field goal so it wasn’t looking so well until the Vikings let them back into the game. 

Chiefs 20-17 over the Giants: Kansas City hit the go ahead field goal late and then the Giants turned the ball over on downs to seal the game for the Chiefs. QB Patrick Mahomes had one TD pass while QB Daniel Jones had two TD passes.
