NFL Recap Week 16 2021:

 

Titans 20-17 over the 49ers: The Titans hit the game winning field goal as time expired. In WR AJ Brown’s return he caught one TD pass and had 145 yards receiving plus RB D’Onta Foreman had a rushing TD. QB Jimmy Garoppolo had two interceptions.

Packers 24-22 over the Browns: QB Aaron Rodgers had three TD passes with no turnovers while QB Baker Mayfield did have two TD passes but he had four interceptions.

Colts 22-16 over the Cardinals: Arizona missed two field goals, an extra point, QB Kyler Murray had two fumbles and he was sacked in the end zone for a safety. QB Carson Wentz had two TD passes.

Eagles 34-10 over the Giants: QB Jalen Hurts had two passing TDs while both Giants QBs had interceptions, one being returned for a TD as the Giants only scored a TD late in the game.

Rams 30-23 over the Vikings: In spite of three interceptions and a fumble by QB Matthew Stafford the Rams never trailed in this game and held on thanks to a rushing TD and punt return TD. QB Kirk Cousins had an interception and three fumbles for Minnesota.

Bills 33-21 over the Patriots: QB Josh Allen had three passing TDs and RB Devin Singletary had a rushing TD. While QB Mac Jones had zero TD passes with a fumble and two interceptions. The game would have been worse if not for RB Damien Harris having three rushing TDs.

Buccaneers 32-6 over the Panthers: QB Tom Brady only had one TD pass but got two rushing TDs from his backups. Both Panthers QBs had a turnover with no TD passes.

Jets 26-21 over the Jaguars: QB Zach Wilson had a rushing and passing TD while QB Trevor Lawrence had zero TD passes with two fumbles. The Jets also got a 102 yard kick return TD.

Falcons 20-16 over the Lions: QB Matt Ryan had a passing TD and RB Cordarrelle Patterson had a rushing TD. The Lions only got one TD which was backup QB Tim Boyle who had an interception.

Texans 41-29 over the Chargers: QB David Mills had two passing TDs and RB Rex Burkhead had two rushing TDs. QB Justin Herbert meanwhile only had one TD pass but two interceptions with one being returned for a TD. 

Bengals 41-21 over the Ravens: QB Joe Burrow had four TD passes and RB Joe Mixon had a rushing TD plus he caught one of those TD passes. Third string QB Josh Johnson did his best with two passing TDs but had an interception.

Bears 25-24 over the Seahawks: The Bears were down 24-14 entering the 4th quarter and came back thanks to a game winning TD pass by 3rd string QB Nick Foles and a two point conversion. QB Russell Wilson had two TD passes for Seattle.

Chiefs 36-11 over the Steelers: It was all Kansas City early as QB Patrick Mahomes had three TD passes, while QB Ben Roethlisberger had only one TD pass with an interception and a fumble plus their kicker missed a field goal.

Raiders 17-13 over the Broncos: QB Derrek Carr had a TD pass and 3rd string RB Peyton Barber had a rushing TD. For Denver QB Drew Lock had no TD passes and his kicker missed a field goal.

Cowboys 56-14 over Washington: QB Dak Prescott had four TD passes and even his backup has one TD pass, plus RB Ezekiel Elliot had a rushing TD to go with his receiving TD. QB Tyler Heinicke did have a passing TD like his backup but he had two interceptions with one being returned for a TD. Washington also had a punt blocked and returned for a TD.

Dolphins 20-3 over the Saints: Saints 4th string QB who was signed off the street Ian Brook threw two interceptions with one being returned for a TD, while QB Tua Tagovailoa had one passing TD.

NFL Recap Week 15 2021:

 

Chiefs 34-28 over the Chargers (OT): QB Patrick Mahomes threw the game winning TD Pass to TE Travis Kelce(who also scored the game tying TD) to end the game his third TD pass of the game. QB Justin Herbert threw two TD passes with a rushing TD and RB Austin Ekeler had a rushing TD which helped them take the lead in the 4th quarter.   

Colts 27-17 over the Patriots: The Colts were up 20-0 entering the 4th quarter and held despite a 17 point 4th quarter by New England. The Colts’ defense forced two fumbles, picked off QB Mac Jones twice and blocked a punt which was returned for a TD. It was the RB Jonathan Taylor show again as he had 170 yards rushing with a rushing TD.

Cowboys 21-6 over the Giants: QB Mike Glennon had three interceptions with no TD passes and RB Saquon Barkley had a fumble. Dallas’ offense didn’t have to do too much as QB Dak Prescott threw one TD pass and RB Ezekiel Elliot had one rushing TD.

Texans 30-16 over the Jaguars: Rookie 3rd round pick QB David Mills threw two TD passes and his team had a 98 yard kick return TD. While rookie and first overall pick in the draft QB Trevor Lawrence had zero TD passes, and their only TD came from RB James Robinson having a rushing TD.

Steelers 19-13 over the Titans: Both QB’s had zero TD passes with a rushing TD but the difference was QB Ryan Tannehill who had an interception and two of his team’s five fumbles. The rest of the scoring was on field goals.

Dolphins 31-24 over the Jets: QB Zach Wilson did not have a passing TD, had a fumble but had a rushing TD, while QB Tua Tagovailoa did have two passing TDs but threw two interceptions with one being returned for a TD. The difference was 4th string RB Duke Johnson having two rushing TDs.

Lions 30-12 over the Cardinals: QB Jared Goff threw three TD passes compared to QB Kyler Murray who had only one TD pass with an interception and a fumble.

Bills 31-14 over the Panthers: QB Josh Allen had three passing TDs and RB Devin Singletary had a rushing TD. QB Cam Newton did have a rushing and passing TD but had an interception with two fumbles.

49ers 31-13 over the Falcons: The 49ers had three rushing TDs one by RB Jeff Wilson, one by WR Deebo Samuel and FB Kyle Juszcyzk, plus QB Jimmy Garoppolo had a passing TD. Atlanta could only muster up one TD.

Bengals 15-10 over the Broncos: QB Teddy Bridgewater was injured and carted off the field so backup QB Drew Lock did his best with a TD pass, but he also had a fumble and their kicker missed a field goal. QB Joe Burrow had one TD pass and their kicker made all of their field goals.

Packers 31-30 over the Ravens: Tip your cap to backup QB Tyler Huntley who was keeping up with QB Aaron Rodgers in the first half with two TD passes and bailed his defense out in the second half on his own with two rushing TDs, and almost won but failed to convert on a two point conversion. QB Aaron Rodgers had three TD passes and AJ Dillon had a rushing TD.

Saints 9-0 over the Buccaneers: There were 17 punts, two fumbles and a missed field goal between the two teams. QB Tom Brady had an interception, his kicker missed a field goal and they lost Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Leonard Fournette to injury, causing them not to just lose the battle but the war too. Saints kicker Brett Maher was the MVP of the game.

Raiders 16-14 over the Browns: The Raiders were up 10-0 entering halftime but had to kick a game winning field goal to get the win. QB Nick Mullens who was just signed off the street for the Browns did throw one TD pass and RB Nick Chubb had a rushing TD in the second half but it wasn’t enough, but what hurt Cleveland was missing a field goal.
Vikings 17-9 over the Bears: The Bears had four fumbles and a missed field goal plus they only got a TD when the game was essentially over. QB Kirk Cousins had two TD passes for Minnesota. 

Eagles 27-17 over Washington: In spite of a Covid19 outbreak Washington had a 10 point lead early but that was the last time they would lead in this game. It was all Jalen Hurts as he had one passing TD and two rushing TDs.

Rams 20-10 over the Seahawks: QB Matthew Stafford had two passing TDs both to WR Cooper Kupp while QB Russell Wilson had zero TD passes with an interception.

NFL Recap Week 14 2021:

 

Vikings 36-28 over the Steelers: The Vikings were up 29-7 entering the 4th quarter and almost blew the game as QB Ben Roethlisberger threw two of his three TD passes and RB Najee Harris had a rushing TD but it was a failed comeback. QB Kirk Cousins did have two TD passes (one in the 4th quarter) but had two interceptions and Dalvin Cook had two rushing TDs.

Browns 24-22 over the Ravens: QB Lamar Jackson was carted off the field with an ankle injury and his backup only threw a TD pass late in the 4th quarter but also lost two fumbles with being returned for a TD. The 4th quarter was the big quarter for their failed comeback attempt as Latavius Murray added a rushing TD. QB Baker Mayfield had two TD passes for Cleveland.

Falcons 29-21 over the Panthers: QB Cam Newton and his backup had three fumbles and two interceptions combined with one of those interceptions returned for a TD. QB Matt Ryan had a TD pass and RB Cordarrelle Patterson had a rushing TD.

Saints 30-9 over the Jets: RB Alvin Kamara returned from injury to rush for 120 yards with a rushing TD and QB Taysom Hill had two rushing TDs. The Jets had six punts and three field goals.

Chiefs 48-7 over the Raiders: QB Patrick Mahomes had two TD passes (one to WR Josh Gordon), RB Clyde Edwards Helaire had two rushing TDs and RB Derrick Gore had a rushing TD. QB Derek Carr had one of his team’s four fumbles(one was recovered for a TD) and he had one interception.

Seahawks 33-13 over the Texans: QB Russell Wilson had two TD passes and third string RB Rashaad Penny had two rushing TD. The only time the Texans led was when they scored a TD to start the game.

Titans 20-0 over the Jaguars: QB Trevor Lawrence had zero TD passes and four interceptions. That meant QB Ryan Tannehill didn’t have to do much as he only had a rushing TD and RB D’Onta Freeman had a rushing TD.

Cowboys 27-20 over Washington: Dallas went up big 24-0 entering halftime and never looked back. QB Tyler Heincke had one of his team’s three fumbles with his being returned for a TD and he threw an interception. QB Dak Prescott didn’t help his team out with only throwing one TD pass because he threw two interceptions with one being returned for a TD.

Chargers 37-21 over the Giants: QB Justin Herbert had three TD passes and RB Austin Ekeler had a rushing TD to help but the Chargers up big early and never looked back. QB Mike Glennon overcame a fumble and an interception to do his best in a comeback attempt as he finished with two passing TDs and a rushing TD but it wasn’t enough.

Broncos 38-10 over the Lions: QB Teddy Bridgewater threw two TD passes, RB Melvin Gordon had two rushing TDs, and RB Javonte Williams also had a rushing TD plus caught one of those TD passes which put the game out of reach early and throughout. QB Jared Goff threw one TD pass, the only TD for Detroit.

49ers 26-23 over the Bengals (OT): After the Bengals hit a field goal in overtime QB Jimmy Garoppolo threw a game winning TD his second of the game. QB Joe Burrow started a comeback in the 4th quarter to force overtime after being down 20-6 by throwing two TD passes.

Buccaneers 33-27 over the Bills(OT): QB Tom Brady threw the game winning TD pass in overtime his second passing TD of the game, he also had a rushing TD, and RB Leonard Fournette had a rushing TD.  For Buffalo it was all QB Josh Allen who had two passing TDs with a rushing TD but it wasn’t enough.

Packers 45-30 over the Bears: QB Aaron Rodgers threw four TD passes and RB Aaron Jones had a rushing TD plus one of those TD passes. QB Justin Fields did his best in his return from injury with two TD passes but threw two interceptions with one being returned for a TD and had a fumble. WR Jakeem Grant had a 97 yard punt return for Chicago. 

Rams 30-23 over the Cardinals: QB Matthew Stafford threw three TD passes while QB Kyler Murray had zero TD passes with two interceptions. RB James Connor had two rushing TDs for Arizona.

NFL Recap Week 13 2021:

 

Cowboys 27-17 over the Saints: QB Taysom Hill had 101 yards rushing with two TD passes but threw four interceptions one returned for a TD with three in the 4th quarter sealing the game for Dallas, plus the Saints missed a field goal. QB Dak Prescott only needed to score one TD pass and backup RB Tony Pollard had a rushing TD.

Buccaneers 30-17 over the Falcons: QB Tom Brady threw four TD passes, two of them to TE Rob Gronkowksi. QB Matt Ryan had zero TD passes and had three of his team’s five fumbles but Atlanta did intercept Brady and return it for a TD.

Chargers 41-22 over the Bengals: QB Justin Herbert had three TD passes while QB Joe Burrow had only one TD pass but had a rushing TD too.  The issue was Burrow had two interceptions and had a fumble, but his RB Joe Mixon’s fumble was recovered for a TD plus their kicker missed an extra point.

Cardinals 33-22 over the Bears: QB Kyler Murray in his return from injury had two passing TDs and two rushing TDs, while QB Andy Dalton did have two TD passes but he threw four interceptions.

Eagles 33-18 over the Jets: QB Gardner Minshew threw two TD passes in place of injured QB Jalen Hurts both to TE Dallas Goedert, and backup RB Kenneth Gainwell had a rushing TD. QB Zach Wilson had two passing TDs too with a rushing TD but he threw an interception and their kicker missed two field goals.

Lions 29-27 over the Vikings: Right after QB Kirk Cousins threw a TD pass to take the lead. QB Jared Goff responded with a game winning TD pass as time expired on 4th down. Cousins had two TD passes and backup RB Alexander Mattison had a rushing TD, while QB Jared Goff had three TD passes.

Colts 31-0 over the Texans: RB Jonathan Taylor did it again with two rushing TDs for 143 yards rushing, plus a backup had a rushing TD and QB Carson Wentz had one passing TD. Both Texans’ QBs had zero TD passes with one interception and their punter saw a lot of action with six punts.

Dolphins 20-9 over the Giants: The Giants were without their starting QB Daniel Jones, two of their wide receivers, one offensive lineman, two defensive players. The #1 WR got hurt during the game and their backup QB Mike Glennon suffered a concussion. QB Tua Tagovailoa had two TD passes in helping the Dolphins win six straight.

Rams 37-7 over the Jaguars: The Rams’ defense forced three fumbles and only let backup RB Carlos Hyde have a rushing TD. The Rams’ offense had backup RB Sony Michel have a rushing TD and QB Matthew Stafford have three TD passes.

Washington 17-15 over the Raiders: Washington hit the game winning field goal with seconds left. QB Tyler Heinicke had two passing TDs while it took till the 4th quarter for Las Vegas to score a TD, which was a rushing TD by Josh Jacobs.

Steelers 20-19 over the Ravens: QB Lamar Jackson led his team down the field for a TD with seconds left but they failed to convert a two-point conversion instead of kicking an extra point to force overtime, so the game ended. QB Ben Roethlisberger threw two TD passes both to WR Diontae Johnson.

Seahawks 30-23 over the 49ers: QB Russell Wilson rebounded to form with two passing TD’s and their 5th string RB had a rushing TD, plus their 6th string RB Adrian Peterson who they just signed also had a rushing TD. QB Jimmy Garoppolo had two passing TDs both to TE George Kittle but threw two interceptions, was sacked in the end zone for a safety and their kicker missed an extra point. 

Chiefs 22-9 over the Broncos: QB Teddy Bridgewater threw two interceptions with one being returned for a TD and they had two fumbles. QB Patrick Mahomes didn’t throw a TD pass but had one rushing TD and their kicker accounted for 10 of their points. 

Patriots 14-10 over the Bills: There were eleven punts, only two TDs combined, three field goals, three fumbles and one two-point conversion. The Bills missing a field goal and New England converting that two-point conversion were the difference.

Bye Week: Panthers, Browns, Titans & Packers.
