NFL Recap Week 18 2024:

 

Chiefs 29-10 over the Steelers: It was all Kansas City as QB Patrick Mahomes had three passing TDs and RB Kareem Hunt had a rushing TD. QB Russell Wilson had two turnovers and only one rushing TD.

Ravens 31-2 over the Texans: It was all QB Lamar Jackson and RB Derrick Henry as they both had rushing TDs and Jackson had two passing TDs. Houston only scored by forcing a safety on Henry.

Seahawks 6-3 over the Bears: There were five fumbles, an interception and no offensive TDs in this game. Jason Meyers just outkicked Cairo Santos but no one scored in the second half.

Chargers 40-7 over the Patriots: QB Justin Herbert had three passing TDs and RB JK Dobbins came off the injured list to score a TD. Kicker Cameron Dicker accounted for sixteen of their points and New England got their only TD pass from rookie QB Drake Maye.

Bengals 30-24 over the Broncos(OT):QB Joe Burrow threw the game winning TD pass, his third of the game  to WR Tee Higgins who caught them all, and Burrow added a rushing TD. Rookie QB Bo Nix threw three TD passes also.

Rams 13-9 over the Cardinals: QB Kyler Murray threw two interceptions but had one TD pass to TE Trey McBride who finally caught a TD pass (had the record for most receptions without a TD). It was not enough as the Rams led the whole game and RB Kyren Williams had a rushing TD.

Bills 40-14 over the Jets: QB Josh Allen had two passing TDs plus a rushing TD and RB James Cook had a rushing TD. Also, backup QB Mitchell Trubisky had a passing TD. QB Aaron Rodgers had two interceptions, his team fumbled the ball twice and he was sacked in the end zone for a safety. They only scored two TDs from backup QB Tyrod Taylor after they were down 40-0.

Raiders 25-10 over the Saints: The Saints had two fumbles and two interceptions and only had one TD and barely led in this game. QB Aidan O’Conell had two passing TDs for Las Vegas.

Giants 45-33 over the Colts: The Giants snapped their losing streak as QB Drew Lock threw four TD passes and a rushing TD. New York also got a 100 yard kickoff return TD. The Colts did get two passing TDs from Joe Flacco but he had two interceptions and a fumble. RB Jonathan Taylor did have two rushing TDs with over 100 yards rushing.

Jaguars 20-13 over the Titans: QB Mac Jones outplayed the other backup QB Mason Rudolph with two passing TDs compared to one.

Buccaneers 48-14 over the Panthers: QB Baker Mayfield threw five passing TDs compared to QB Bryce Young who had only two passing TDs, but with two fumbles and their kicker missed a field goal.

Eagles 41-7 over the Cowboys: Both backup QBs helped in this game as Kenny Pickett had a rushing TD with a passing TD and Tanner McKee threw two passing TDs. Dallas had two fumbles, missed a field goal, and QB Cooper Rush had only one TD pass but threw two interceptions with one being returned for a TD.

Dolphins 20-3 over the Browns: Backup QB Tyler Huntley threw a TD pass and a rushing TD. While the Browns could actually only score a field goal.

Vikings 27-25 over the Packers: The Vikings were up 20-3 late and never looked back as QB Sam Darnold had three passing TDs. For Green Bay QB Jordan did have one TD pass.

Commanders 30-24 over Falcons(OT): Rookie QB Jayden Daniels threw the game winning TD pass to TE Zach Ertz to clinch a playoff berth. Daniels had three passing TDs and Ertz caught two of them. Atlanta missed a potential game winning field goal which is why it went to overtime, and RB Bijan Robinson had two rushing TDs for them.

Lions 40-34 over the 49ers: The Lions led 31-28 entering the 4^th quarter and never looked back. QB Jared Goff had three passing TDs, RB Jamyr Gibbs and WR Jameson Williams had rushing TDs, plus he caught a TD pass. QB Brock Purdy had three passing TDs too with a rushing TD but also threw two interceptions. There were two missed field goals and three extra points missed.
