Cowboys 27-17 over the Saints: QB Taysom Hill had 101 yards rushing with two TD passes but threw four interceptions one returned for a TD with three in the 4th quarter sealing the game for Dallas, plus the Saints missed a field goal. QB Dak Prescott only needed to score one TD pass and backup RB Tony Pollard had a rushing TD.
Buccaneers 30-17 over the Falcons: QB Tom Brady threw four TD passes, two of them to TE Rob Gronkowksi. QB Matt Ryan had zero TD passes and had three of his team’s five fumbles but Atlanta did intercept Brady and return it for a TD.
Chargers 41-22 over the Bengals: QB Justin Herbert had three TD passes while QB Joe Burrow had only one TD pass but had a rushing TD too. The issue was Burrow had two interceptions and had a fumble, but his RB Joe Mixon’s fumble was recovered for a TD plus their kicker missed an extra point.
Cardinals 33-22 over the Bears: QB Kyler Murray in his return from injury had two passing TDs and two rushing TDs, while QB Andy Dalton did have two TD passes but he threw four interceptions.
Eagles 33-18 over the Jets: QB Gardner Minshew threw two TD passes in place of injured QB Jalen Hurts both to TE Dallas Goedert, and backup RB Kenneth Gainwell had a rushing TD. QB Zach Wilson had two passing TDs too with a rushing TD but he threw an interception and their kicker missed two field goals.
Lions 29-27 over the Vikings: Right after QB Kirk Cousins threw a TD pass to take the lead. QB Jared Goff responded with a game winning TD pass as time expired on 4th down. Cousins had two TD passes and backup RB Alexander Mattison had a rushing TD, while QB Jared Goff had three TD passes.
Colts 31-0 over the Texans: RB Jonathan Taylor did it again with two rushing TDs for 143 yards rushing, plus a backup had a rushing TD and QB Carson Wentz had one passing TD. Both Texans’ QBs had zero TD passes with one interception and their punter saw a lot of action with six punts.
Dolphins 20-9 over the Giants: The Giants were without their starting QB Daniel Jones, two of their wide receivers, one offensive lineman, two defensive players. The #1 WR got hurt during the game and their backup QB Mike Glennon suffered a concussion. QB Tua Tagovailoa had two TD passes in helping the Dolphins win six straight.
Rams 37-7 over the Jaguars: The Rams’ defense forced three fumbles and only let backup RB Carlos Hyde have a rushing TD. The Rams’ offense had backup RB Sony Michel have a rushing TD and QB Matthew Stafford have three TD passes.
Washington 17-15 over the Raiders: Washington hit the game winning field goal with seconds left. QB Tyler Heinicke had two passing TDs while it took till the 4th quarter for Las Vegas to score a TD, which was a rushing TD by Josh Jacobs.
Steelers 20-19 over the Ravens: QB Lamar Jackson led his team down the field for a TD with seconds left but they failed to convert a two-point conversion instead of kicking an extra point to force overtime, so the game ended. QB Ben Roethlisberger threw two TD passes both to WR Diontae Johnson.
Seahawks 30-23 over the 49ers: QB Russell Wilson rebounded to form with two passing TD’s and their 5th string RB had a rushing TD, plus their 6th string RB Adrian Peterson who they just signed also had a rushing TD. QB Jimmy Garoppolo had two passing TDs both to TE George Kittle but threw two interceptions, was sacked in the end zone for a safety and their kicker missed an extra point.
Chiefs 22-9 over the Broncos: QB Teddy Bridgewater threw two interceptions with one being returned for a TD and they had two fumbles. QB Patrick Mahomes didn’t throw a TD pass but had one rushing TD and their kicker accounted for 10 of their points.
Patriots 14-10 over the Bills: There were eleven punts, only two TDs combined, three field goals, three fumbles and one two-point conversion. The Bills missing a field goal and New England converting that two-point conversion were the difference.
