Rams 23-20 over the Bengals: The Rams started out the game quickly scoring two TDs as WR
Odell Beckham Jr scored but left with an injury later, and WR Cooper Kupp
scored later on in the first half. The Bengals started to chip away at the lead
with a trick play TD as RB Joe Mixon threw a TD pass to WR Tee Higgins. QB
Matthew Stafford, despite throwing two TD passes early then threw two
interceptions as QB Joe Burrow led his team down the field multiple times to
take the lead, as he threw one TD pass to Higgins for his second TD catch during
those drives. It then became a quiet game with no success on offense for a
while until the Rams got into the red zone. After many penalties on both sides
with less than two minutes remaining Stafford finally got a TD pass into WR
Cooper Kupp’s hand for Kupp’s second TD of the game. The Bengals then didn’t
complete a first down to seal the game for the Rams. Kupp finished as the Super
Bowl MVP with 92 yards receiving and two TD catches.
