Cowboys 20-15 over the
Giants: QB Daniel Jones didn’t have a TD pass but had one
interception while his team only scored on field goals. Greg Joseph made five
field goals. QB Dak Prescott had two TD passes.
Falcons 26-24 over the
Saints: The Falcons won a game winning field goal from
Younghoe Koo as time expired. He accounted for 14 of their points and the
Falcons defense returned a fumble and an interception for TD. Which means
Atlanta didn’t score an offensive TD. For the Saints RB Alvin Kamara had a
rushing TD and TE Taysom Hill had two rushing TDs.
Bears 24-18 over the Rams: QB Matthew Stafford had zero TD passes with an interception that ended the game and a fumble plus their kicker missed a field goal. QB Caleb Williams had one TD pass and both RBS had a rushing TD.
Vikings 31-29 over the
Packers: The Vikings were up 28-7 entering half time and
never looked back in spite of all the efforts from QB Jordan Love in his return
for the Packers. He did throw three TD passes in the 2nd half (four
total) but it wasn’t enough as he had three interceptions. Plus their kicker
missed two field goals. QB Sam Darnold
had three TD passes, one going to WR Jordan Addison who also had a rushing TD.
Colts 24-27 over the
Steelers: The Colts
were up 17-3 at half time and never looked back in spite of QB Justin Fields
having a passing TD and two rushing TDs all in the second half. QB Anthony
Richardson left the game with a hip injury and QB Joe Flacco had two TD passes
and RB Jonathan Taylor had a rushing TD.
Broncos 10-9 over the
Jets:
Rookie QB Bo Nix had the only TD of the game which was the difference. Both
teams also missed a field goal and each had a fumble.
Buccaneers 33-16 over
the Eagles: QB Baker Mayfield outplayed QB Jalen Hurts with
two TD passes and a rushing TD compared to Hurts’ one TD pass and one rushing
TD (two fumbles). The Eagles did get two
on a return off a deflected PAT.
Bengals 34-24 over the Panthers: In
the QB Andy Dalton bowl both him and QB Joe Burrow had two passing TDs with an
interception. The difference was the Bengals RB Chase Brown had two rushing TDs
compared to Carolina’s Chuba Hubbard’s one.
Texans 24-20 over the
Jaguars: QB CJ Stroud threw the game winning TD pass as
time expired, his second TD pass of the game. QB Trevor Lawrence also had two
TD passes but the difference was WR Stefon Diggs having a rushing TD for
Houston.
Commanders 42-12 over
the Cardinals: Rookie QB Jayden Daniels had a rushing
and passing TD plus his RBs had 169 yards rushing with three rushing TDs. QB
Kyler Murray did have a passing TD.
49ers 30-13 over the
Patriots: QB Brock Purdy had one TD pass and RB Jordan Mason
had a rushing TD. Their defense forced four fumbles and picked off QB Jacoby
Brissett once where it was returned for a TD.
Raiders 20-16 over the
Browns: Las Vegas got themselves two rushing TDs compared
to the one offensive TD QB Deshaun Watson threw for Cleveland. That TD came in
the 1st quarter which was the last time Cleveland had a lead. They
did return a fumble for a TD but missed the extra point.
Chiefs 17-10 over the
Chargers: The Chargers were up 10-0 after the 1st
quarter and never scored again. QB Patrick Mahomes threw one TD pass and their
3rd string RB had a rushing TD.
Titans 31-12 over the
Dolphins: Even with QB Will Levis leaving the game with
injury they still won as both of their RBs had rushing TDs. Plus, Nick Folk
accounted for seventeen of their points. If it weren’t for the Dolphins kicker Jason
Sanders accounting for half of their points it would have been worse. QB Tyler
Huntley, the third QB to start for Miami, had no passing TDs with an
interception/a fumble and caused a safety.
Lions 42-29 over the
Seahawks: QB Jared Goff threw two TD passes, one to WR
Amon-Ra St Brown who also threw a TD pass to him. The RBs David Montgomery and
Jahmyr Gibbs had three rushing TDs combined. RB Kenneth Walker had three
rushing TDs for Seattle.
