NFL Recap Week 16 2024:

 

Chargers 34-27 over the Broncos: Los Angeles was down 24-13 in the second half but came back to defeat their divisional rivals. Both QBs rookie Bo Nix and Justin Herbert had two TD passes. RB Gus Edwards had two rushing TDs for the Chargers.

Chiefs 27-19 over the Texans: The Chiefs were up 17-10 at halftime and never looked back. QB Patrick Mahomes had a passing and rushing TD. QB CJ Stroud had two TDs but also had two interceptions. 

Ravens 35-17 over the Steelers: It was all QB Lamar Jackson who had three TD passes and RB Derrick Henry ran all over for 162 yards. QB Russell Wilson did have two TD passes but threw an interception that was returned for a TD. 

Panthers 36-30 over the Cardinals(OT): RB Chubba Howard scored the game winning TD, his second rushing TD of the day. QB Bryce Young had two passing TDs and a rushing TD. QB Kyler Murray did have a passing TD/a rushing TD but had two turnovers. 

Falcons 34-7 over the Giants: RB Bijan Robinson had two rushing TDs.  Atlanta picked off QB Drew Lock twice, returning them for TDs and forcing a fumble.

Lions 34-17 over the Bears:  QB Jared Goff threw three TD passes and RB Jahmyr Gibbs had a rushing TD. Rookie QB Caleb Williams did have two TD passes but two of his team’s three fumbles. 

Colts 38-30 over the Titans: RB Taje Spears scored the game TD (his second TD) and they converted two to ice it. QB Mason Rudolph had two TD passes but three interceptions.  RB Jonathan Taylor ran over the Titans defense for 218 yards and had three rushing TDs.

Rams 19-9 over the Jets: RB Kyren Williams had over 120 yards rushing with a rushing TD, and QB Matthew Stafford had one TD pass. QB Aaron Rodgers only had one TD pass. 

Commanders 36-33 over the Eagles: Rookie QB Jayden Daniels threw the game winning TD pass with seconds left his fifth TD of the game. RB Saquon Barkley ran for 150 yards with two rushing TDs. QB Jaylen Hurts left the game with a concussion. 

Bengals 24-6 over the Browns: QB Joe Burrow threw three passing TDs while QB Dorian Thompson Robinson threw two interceptions and had a fumble.

Vikings 27-24 over the Seahawks: QB Sam Darnold threw the game winning TD pass (his third) to WR to Justin Jefferson (his second). QB Geno Smith threw three TD passes but had two interceptions. 

Bills 24-21 over the Patriots: It was all RB James Cook who had 100 yards rushing with a rushing TD and caught a TD pass. The Patriots did have a 14-0 lead early that they blew. 

Raiders 19-17 over Jaguars: RB Ameer Abdullah scored the go ahead rushing TD and RB Alexander Mattison also had a rushing TD, while their kicker outscored the other team’s kicker.

Dolphins 29-17 over 49ers: Kicker Jason Sanders accounted for seventeen of their points, and RB DeVon Achane ran for 120 yards with a rushing TD. QB Brock Purdy did have two passing TDs but threw an interception and their kicker missed a field goal.

Cowboys 26-25 over the Buccaneers: The Cowboys led 23-14 at halftime and never looked back. Kicker Brandon Aubrey accounted for 14 of their points and QB Cooper Rush had one passing TD. QB Baker Mayfield did his best with two passing TDs, had an interception and one of his team’s three fumbles.

Packers 34-0 over the Saints: The Packers ran all over the Saints for three rushing TDs and QB Jordan Love had one TD pass. Also kicker Brandon McManus accounted for ten of their points.
