NFL Recap Week 3 2025:

 

Bills 31-21 over the Dolphins: QB Josh Allen out played QB Tua Tagovailoa with three passing TDs with one turnover compared to only two TD passes with two turnovers.
Browns 13-10 over the Packers:  The Browns trailed 10-0 all game before hitting the game winning field goal as time expired to complete the upset/comeback. The Browns did get a rushing TD but it was all kicker Andre Szmyt.

Colts 41-20 over the Titans: The Colts went up 20-6 at halftime and never looked back. RB Jonathan Taylor ran all over the Titans for three rushing TDs and 102 yards. Rookie QB Cam Ward did have a passing TD for his team but got intercepted and returned for a TD. This game had three missed field goals.

Vikings 48-10 over the Bengals: In the backup QB game it was all QB Carson Wentz who had two passing TDs plus their backup RB had two rushing TDs. QB Jake Browning had two interceptions and his team had five fumbles. CB Isaiah Rodgers had both an interception and a fumble recovery for a TD.

Steelers 21-14 over the Patriots: QB Aaron Rodgers threw the go-ahead TD with two minutes left, his second of the game to seal the game. QB Drake Maye also had two passing TDs but he had two of the team’s five turnovers.

Eagles 33-26 over the Rams: The Eagles were down 26-7 in the third quarter but outscored the Rams 26-0 the rest of the game. The Eagles blocked a field goal and returned it for a TD to complete the comeback. QB Jalen Hurts had three passing and one rushing TD. In general Los Angeles missed two field goals

Buccaneers 29-24 over the Jets: The Jets blocked a field goal and returned it for a TD to take the lead but then the Buccaneers hit the game winning field goal as time expired. Kicker Chase McLaughlin accounted for seventeen of Tampa Bay points. They also returned an interception for a TD.

Commanders 41-24 over the Raiders: Backup QB Marcus Mariota had both a passing and rushing TD, plus both of their backup RBs had rushing TDs. Washington also had a 90 yard punt return TD. QB Geno Smith did his best to make it close with three passing TDs all going to WR Tre Tucker but it wasn’t enough.

Panthers 30-0 over the Falcons: The Panthers shut out their divisional rivals as their defense forced a fumble and picked off QB Michael Pennix, returning one for a TD. Atlanta after cutting their kicker for a new one had the new kicker miss both of his field goals. QB Bryce Young only had a rushing TD and no passing TDs.

Jaguars 17-10 over the Texans: In this divisional rival game of the two best teams in this division there was a fumble, three interceptions and two missed field goals combined. RB Travis Etienne had the go-ahead TD for Jacksonville.

Chargers 23-20 over the Broncos: Cameron Dicker hit the game winning field goal as time expired to beat their divisional rivals and complete the comeback for Los Angeles. Both QBs had a passing TD and both teams had a rushing TD. Dicker accounted for 11 of their points.

Seahawks 44-13 over the Saints: QB Sam Darnold had two passing TDs and RB Kenneth Walker had two rushing TDs. Plus their kicker Jason Myers accounted for 14 of their points and they had a 95 yard punt return TD. The Saints missed a field goal and their QB only had one TD pass and had an interception.

Bears 31-14 over the Cowboys: QB Caleb Williams had four passing TDs for the Bears with no turnovers compared to QB Dak Prescott who only had one passing TD, plus he had two of his team’s three interceptions.

49ers 16-15 over the Cardinals: The 49ers hit the game winning field goal as time expired to beat their divisional rivals and complete the comeback. Both QBs Mac Jones and Kyer Murray had a passing TD. The Cardinals did miss a field goal but sacked Jones in the end zone for a safety.

Chiefs 22-9 over the Giants: A missed field goal, two missed extra points, two fumbles and two interceptions in this sloppy game. QB Patrick Mahomes had one TD pass compared to QB Russell Wilson.

Lions 38-30 over the Ravens: The Lions ran all over the Ravens with over 200 yards between both RBs where both Jaymir Gibbs and David Montgomery had two rushing TDs a piece.  QB Lamar Jackson did his best to keep up with the Lions as he threw three TD passes but was sacked seven times and had a fumble.

NFL Week 2 Recap 2025:

 

Packers 27-18 over the Commanders: The Packers were up 17-3 entering the 4th quarter and never looked back. QB Jordan Love had two passing TDs and RB Josh Jacobs had a rushing TD for Green Bay. QB Jaden Daniels did have two passing TDs in the 4th quarter but it was too late by then plus their kicker missed two field goals.

Cowboys 40-37 over the Giants (OT): The Cowboys hit both the game tying field goal and game winning field goal to beat their divisional rivals in overtime. QB Dak Prescott had two passing TDs and both of his RBs had rushing TDs. For the Giants QB Russell Wilson had three passing TDs.

Bengals 31-27 over the Jaguars: The Jaguars had the lead twice and still blew it as QB Joe Burrow left the game for the Bengals. It was his backup Jake Browning who had a rushing TD and two passing TDs to complete the comeback. QB Trevor Lawrence did have three passing TDs.

Lions 52-21 over the Bears: It was all Detroit as they led 28-14 at halftime and never looked back. QB Jared Goff had five passing TDs with three going to WR Amon-Ra St Brown and both RBs had rushing TDs. QB Caleb Williams had two passing TDs both going to WR Rome Odunze and RB D’Andre Swift had a rushing TD.

Rams 33-19 over the Titans: The Rams were actually down 9 points entering the 4th quarter and completed the comeback as QB Matthew Stafford threw one of his two passing TDs. They also got two rushing TDs. Rookie QB Cam Ward got his first career TD but it was all kicker Joey Slye accounting for 13 points.

Patriots 33-27 over the Dolphins: In this close divisional game New England just edged the Dolphins with a late field goal. This game had both a punt return TD and kick return TD. It was all QB Drake Maye for the Patriots with two passing TDs and a rushing TD.

49ers 26-21 over the Saints: Backup QB Mac Jones had three passing TDs to keep the 49ers ahead for the whole game. Saints QB Spencer Rattler was impressive with three passing TDs too but it wasn’t enough.

Bills 30-10 over the Jets: RB James Cook ran all over the Jets for 132 yards with two rushing yards plus Elijah Moore had a rushing TD. Matt Prater also accounted for twelve of the Bills’ points. The Jets had a TD late but it was in garbage time.

Seahawks 31-17 over the Steelers: The Seahawks were down 14-7 at halftime and came back to win despite two interceptions and a missed field goal. They recovered a kickoff in the end zone for a TD. Kicker Chris Boswell accounted for 9 of the Steelers’ points.

Ravens 41-17 over the Browns:  QB Lamar Jackson had four TD passes for Baltimore while QB Joe Flacco had one passing TD with an interception for the Browns. The Ravens also recovered a fumble and returned it for a TD.

Colts 29-28 over the Broncos: The Colts were down 28-23 entering the 4th quarter and hit two field goals to just edge out the Broncos as the kicker accounted for 17 of their points. QB Bo Nix did have three passing TDs for Denver.

Cardinals 27-22 over the Panthers: The Cardinals were up 27-9 entering the 4th quarter and never looked back. They recovered a fumble for a TD and picked off QB Bryce Young. Young did have three passing TDs.

Eagles 20-17 over the Chiefs: In a Super Bowl rematch the Eagles led the whole time just like in the big game. Kansas City missed a field goal which would come back to haunt them and three turnovers total between the teams. QB Patrick Mahomes had a rushing and passing TD while QB Jalen Hurts had a rushing TD.

Falcons 22-6 over the Vikings: There was only one TD scored which was by Atlanta late in the 4th quarter. Minnesota had six turnovers, five by QB JJ McCarthy. The Falcons got sixteen of their points from their kicker.

Buccaneers 20-19 over the Texans: Houston took the lead with two minutes left but the Buccaneers scored with seconds left on a rushing TD by RB Rachaad White to seal the deal. QB Baker Mayfield had two TD passes compared to QB CJ Stroud who only had one for Houston.

Chargers 20-9 over the Raiders: It was all QB Justin Herbert who had two passing TDs for the Chargers. QB Geno Smith had zero TD passes with three interceptions as it was all Daniel Carlson who kicked three field goals.

NFL Week 1 Recap 2025:

 

Eagles 24-20 over the Cowboys: QB Jalen Hurts outplayed QB Dak Prescott with two rushing TDs total over the zero from Prescott. New Cowboys RB Javonte Williams did have two rushing TDs and RB Saquon Barkley had a rushing TD for the Eagles.

Chargers 27-21 over the Chiefs: QB Justin Herbert outplayed QB Patrick Mahomes in Brazil with three passing TDs to one. Kansas City kicker Harrison Butker scored nine of their points but did miss an extra point.

Commanders 21-6 over the Giants: The Commanders went up 14-3 at halftime and never looked back. Washington had two rushing TDs while the Giants only scored on field goals.

Buccaneers 23-20 over Falcons: QB Baker Mayfield threw the game winning TD his third TD of the game to rookie WR Emeka Ebuka to beat their divisional rivals which was his second of the game. QB Michael Pennix had both a rushing and passing TD for Atlanta but they missed the game tying field goal.

Bengals 17-16 over the Browns: Kicker Evan McPherson hit the go ahead field goal for the Bengals to beat their divisional rival. QB Joe Flacco had two interceptions and their kicker missed both an extra point and a field goal for Cleveland.

Colts 33-8 over the Dolphins: QB Daniel Jones had a passing and two rushing TDs for the Colts. Their kicker accounted for 15 of their points. QB Tua Tagovailo had two of his team’s three turnovers with two interceptions.

Raiders 20-13 over the Patriots: Rookie RB Ashton Jeanty had a rushing TD and QB Geno Smith had a passing TD for the Las Vegas Raiders who won in HC Pete Carroll’s debut. New England only had one TD and missed a field goal.  

Cardinals 20-13 over the Saints: QB Kyler Murray had two passing TDs compared to QB Shane Rattler who had zero TD passes plus their kicker missed a field goal.

Steelers 34-32 over the Jets: The Steelers got the go-ahead field goal to help QB Aaron Rodgers get revenge on his former team. Rodgers had four TD passes and Chris Boswell accounted for ten points. QB Justin Fields wasn’t terrible but he only had one passing TD with two rushing TDs.

Jaguars 26-10 over the Panthers: The Jaguars were up 20-3 at halftime and never looked back. QB Trevor Lawrence had one passing TD and WR Brian Thomas Jr had a rushing TD. QB Bryce Young had two of his team’s turnovers with two interceptions.

Broncos 20-12 over the Titans: If it weren’t for kicker Joey Slye accounting for all of their points the Titans would have been shutout. In spite of four turnovers the Broncos held on with a rushing TD from JK Dobbins.

49ers 17-13 over Seahawks: QB Brick Purdy threw one of his two TDs as the go-ahead TD to beat their divisional rival. Seattle only had one TD but it was a rushing TD as QB Sam Darnold had zero passing TDs.

Packers 27-13 over the Lions: Green Bay went up 17-3 and never looked back over their divisional rival. QB Jordan Love had two passing TDs compared to QB Jared Goff who only had one passing TD.

Rams 14-9 over the Texans:  QB Matthew Stafford had one passing TD for Los Angeles compared to QB CJ Stroud who had zero TD passes. Houston only scored on field goals.

Bills 41-40 over the Ravens: The Bills pulled off the comeback as they were down 40-25 in the 4th quarter. QB Josh Allen threw one of his two TD passes and ran for one of his two rushing TDs plus their kicker hit the game winning field goal as time expired. QB Lamar Jackson had two passing TDs and a rushing TD while RB Derrick Henry had two rushing TDs.

Vikings 27-24 over the Bears: The Bears were up 17-6 at halftime but then let the Vikings score 21 points in the 4th quarter to complete the comeback. QB JJ McCarthy had two passing and one rushing TD for Minnesota but threw an interception that was returned for a TD. QB Caleb Williams had a rushing and passing TD for Chicago but they also missed a field goal.
