Panthers 25-15 over the
Falcons: It was the D’Onta Foreman show as he had 130 yards
rushing with a rushing TD, and WR Laviska Shenault had a rushing TD too. Kicker
Eddy Pinero had 13 of their points. QB Marcus Mariota did his best with a
comeback attempt in the second half with two TD passes but he had an
interception and their kicker missed two extra points.
Buccaneers 21-16 over
the Seahawks: Tampa Bay went up 14-0 and never
looked back as QB Tom Brady had two TD passes and RB Leonard Fournette had a
rushing TD. QB Geno Smith did his best with a comeback attempt by throwing two
TD passes late but it wasn’t enough in the end. Brady is 4-0 outside of the US.
Vikings 33-30 over the
Bills (OT): QB Josh Allen played in a game he probably
shouldn’t have with his injury as he had two interceptions and one of his
team’s three fumbles, plus they blew a huge lead. Literally they fumbled the
ball in their own end zone to give the Vikings the lead with less than a minute
which required them to make a field goal to tie it. They lost in overtime
because Allen threw a game sealing interception as the Vikings made their field
goal earlier. RB Dalvin Cook had 119 yards rushing with a rushing TD and the FB
CJ Ham had a rushing TD for the Vikings, while RB Devin Singletary two rushing
TDs for Buffalo.
Lions 31-30 over the
Bears: QB Justin Fields again was on fire with two
passing TDs, two rushing TDs and 147 yards rushing but their defense again blew
the game. He did throw an interception that was returned by the Lions for a TD
and their other TDs were two rushing TDs by both RBs. The Bears kicker also
missed an extra point attempt.
Chiefs 27-17 over the
Jaguars: QB Patrick Mahomes had four TD passes while QB Trevor
Lawrence had two passing TDs. Jacksonville’s kicker missed two field goals.
Dolphins 39-17 over the
Browns: QB Tua Tagovailoa had three passing TDs and both
RBs Raheem Mostert and Jeff Wilson had rushing TDs. For Cleveland, QB Jacoby
Brissett had only one TD pass.
Giants 24-16 over the
Texans: QB Daniel Jones had two passing TDs and RB Saquon
Barkley had a rushing TD which is all she wrote as they held on to win. QB
Davis Mills had only one TD pass with an interception.
Steelers 20-10 over the
Saints: It was a battle of “no one really wanting to win
it” as QB Andy Dalton threw two interceptions/had two fumbles and QB Kenny
Pickett had no passing TDs. Even the Steelers replacement kicker missed two
field goals and they still won.
Titans 17-10 over the
Broncos: 17 punts, five fumbles, one interception and QB
Ryan Tannehill outplaying QB Russell Wilson with two TD passes compared to
Wilson’s one.
Colts 25-20 over the
Raiders: In Jeff Saturday’s debut he won as he started QB
Matt Ryan who had one passing TD which was the go-ahead TD and a rushing TD,
plus RB Jonathan Taylor had a rushing TD. QB Derek Carr did have two TD passes
and RB Josh Jacobs had a rushing TD.
Packers 31-28 over the
Cowboys (OT): The Cowboys blew a 28-14 lead and lost
in overtime on a game winning field goal. QB Aaron Rodgers had three passing
TDs both to WR Christian Watson (107 yards receiving) and RB Aaron Jones had a
rushing TD. QB Dak Prescott also had three TD passes but threw two
interceptions.
Cardinals 27-17 over
the Rams: In a divisional battle of backup QBs because both
Matthew Stafford and Kyler Murray were out with injuries it was all Arizona. RB
James Connor had two rushing TDs and QB Colt McCoy had one passing TD.
49ers 22-16 over the
Chargers: QB Jimmy Garoppolo didn’t have a passing TD but he
didn’t turn the ball over twice like QB Justin Herbert did(interception to seal
the game), as he did have a rushing TD(lead them from behind for a comeback
win) plus RB Christian McCaffery also had a one too. It wouldn’t have been this
close if it weren’t for the Chargers kicker who accounted for 10 of their 16
points.
Commanders 32-21 over
the Eagles: The Eagles fumbled the ball away three times(one
was returned for a TD) as QB Jalen Hurts threw an interception as he did his
best to win this game with two passing and one rushing TDs but it wasn’t
enough. Kicker Joey Slye accounted for 14 of their points.
Bye Week: Ravens, Jets, Bengals & Patriots.
