Lions 34-20 over the
Packers: The Lions went up 14-3 early and never looked back
as QB Jared Goff had one TD pass and RB David Montgomery had three rushing TDs.
The Packers didn’t score any TD till it was out of hand as QB Jordan Love had
two interceptions and a fumble.
Jaguars 23-7 over the
Falcons: QB Desmond Ridder had one fumble and two
interceptions with one being returned for a TD. Kicker Brandon McManus accounted
for 11 of the Jaguars points as this game was played in London.
Bills 48-20 over the
Dolphins: QB Josh Allen had four passing TDs with a rushing
TD and RB James Cook also had a rushing TD. Rookie RB De’Von Achane didn’t cool
off as he had two rushing TDs for over 100 yards rushing. QB Tua Tagovailoa had
one interception and one of his team’s four fumbles.
Vikings 21-13 over the
Panthers: In spite of two interceptions(one returned for a
TD) by QB Kirk Cousins the Panthers couldn’t score. Cousins did throw two TD
passes both to WR Justin Jefferson. The Vikings also recovered a fumble for a
TD.
Broncos 31-28 over the
Bears: The Bears were up 21-7 at halftime and got
outscored 24-7 the rest of the way. QB Russell Wilson had three passing TDs and
QB Justin Fields had four TD passes but threw an interception at the end of
game. The Broncos did recover a fumble and return it for a TD.
Ravens 28-3 over the
Browns: It was the QB Lamar Jackson show with two passing
TDs and two rushing TDs. Without QB Deshaun Watson they started QB Dorian
Thompson-Robinson who had zero TD passes and three interceptions.
Texans 30-6 over
Steelers: QB Kenny Pickett had one interception and left the
game with a knee injury plus his team had two fumbles. Rookie QB CJ Stroud had
two passing TDs and RB Devin Singletary had a one passing TD too.
Rams 29-23 over the
Colts(OT): The Rams were up 20-0 entering half time
thanks to RB Kyren Williams but then they blew the lead which is why it went to
overtime. They missed two field goals
and QB Matthew Stafford threw an interception. While that was happening rookie
QB Anthony Richardson who came back from his concussion to throw two TD passes
and had a rushing TD to get the Colts to overtime. Stafford threw his only TD
pass in overtime to win.
Buccaneers 26-9 over
the Saints: QB Baker Mayfield threw three TD passes while QB
Derek Carr threw zero TD passes. The Saints could muster three field goals
maybe they should have let Carr sit with this injury and started QB Jameis
Winston.
Eagles 34-31 over the
Commanders(OT): The Eagles hit the game winning field goal in
overtime. QB Jalen Hurts threw two TD passes both to WR AJ Brown and RB D’Andre
Swift had a rushing TD. QB Sam Howell had one TD pass(as time expired) and RB
Brian Robinson had a rushing TD plus WR Curtis Samuel had one too.
Titans 27-3 over the
Bengals: The Titans defense held QB Joe Burrow to zero TD
passes (165 yards passing) with a fumble and RB Joe Mixon to 67 yards rushing.
RB Derrick Henry ran all over the place for 122 yards rushing with a rushing TD
plus he threw a TD pass.
Chargers 24-17 over the
Raiders: QB Justin Herbert had one passing TD and two
rushing TDs while rookie QB Aidan O’Connell(sacked six times) did his best with
one passing and rushing TD. O’Connell did have one interception at the end of
the game and three fumbles which was the difference.
Cowboys 38-3 over the
Patriots: New England missed a field goal and QB Mac Jones
had a fumble with two interceptions (one returned for a TD) so he got benched. That
fumble was returned for a TD in favor of Dallas and their kicker accounted for
12 of their points.
49ers 35-16 over the
Cardinals: RB Christian McCaffrey ran all over the Cardinals
for three rushing TDs for over 100 yards rushing and QB Brock Purdy threw one TD
(to McCaffrey) pass/had a rushing TD. QB Josh Dobbs did his best with two
passing TDs but wasn’t enough.
