NFL Recap Week 7 2023:

 

Jaguars 31-24 over the Saints: The Saints missed a field and QB Derek Carr had a fumble plus an interception that was returned for a TD. QB Trevor Lawrence who was a game time decision didn’t have to do much with his one TD pass, it was RB Travis Etienne who had two rushing TDs.

Ravens 38-6 over the Lions:  It was all QB Lamar Jackson who had three passing TDs with a rushing TD, plus backup RB Gus Edwards had a rushing TD. QB Jared Goff had no TD passes with an interception with two fumbles and they failed on a two point conversion.

Bears 30-12 over the Raiders: The backup QBs both played for the Raiders where they had three total interceptions with one being returned for a TD and their kicker missed a field goal. Backup QB Tyler Bagent had a TD pass and RB D’Onta Foreman had two rushing TDs and also caught that TD pass.

Browns 39-38 over the Colts: RB Kareem Hunt scored the go ahead TD then the Colts QB Gardner Minshew fumbled the ball away to end it. Hunt had two rushing TDs and Jerome Ford also had a rushing TD. Interestingly enough both Browns QBs had interceptions plus one had a fumble. Minshew did have two passing and two rushing TDs in general plus RB Jonathan Taylor had one rushing TD. The Browns blocked a field goal and recovered a fumble for a TD.

Patriots 29-25 over the Bills: Mac Jones threw the game winning TD to upset the Bills and then QB Josh Allen fumbled the ball away to actually end the game (early interception). Allen did have two passing TDs and a rushing TD though. Jones had two passing TDs in general and RB Ezekiel Elliot had a rushing TD.

Giants 14-7 over the Commanders: Washington missed a field goal, had a fumble and QB Sam Howell had no TD passes with an interception. QB Tyrod Taylor had two passing TDs but they also missed a field goal.

Falcons 16-13 over the Buccaneers: The Falcons hit the game winning field goal as time expired. QB Desmond Ridder had zero TD passes with three fumbles but had a rushing TD, and QB Baker Mayfield had a fumble with an interception but one TD pass.

Steelers 24-17 over the Rams: The Steelers scored all of their TDs on rushing TDs as QB Kenny Pickett, RBs Najee Harris and Jaylen Warren also had rushing TDs. QB Matthew Stafford threw an interception and their kicker missed two field goals plus an extra point.

Seahawks 20-10 over the Cardinals: QB Geno Smith had two passing TDs while QB Josh Dobbs had no passing TDs but had a rushing TD. Arizona also missed a field goal.

Broncos 19-17 over the Packers: QB Jordan Love looked to be bouncing back with his team putting up 17 straight points in the second half but threw a crucial interception late to seal the game. He had two passing TDS while QB Russell Wilson only had one passing TD. The Packers also missed a field goal.

Chiefs 31-17 over the Chargers: QB Patrick Mahomes had 4 TD passes while QB Justin Herbert had two interceptions with only one TD pass.

Eagles 31-17 over the Dolphins: QB Jalen Hurts had two passing TDs and one rushing TD compared to QB Tua Tagovailoa who only had one TD pass. Miami only had a second TD because Hurts was picked off and it was returned for a TD.

Vikings 22-17 over the 49ers: QB Brock Purdy who threw one of his two interceptions as the game was ending. Their rookie kicker has again missed a crucial field goal and RB Christian McCaffrey had a fumble. QB Kirk Cousins threw two TD passes.
