NFL Recap Week 9 2025:

 

Ravens 28-6 over the Dolphins: QB Lamar Jackson returned from injury to put up four passing TDs with two going to TE Mark Andrews for the Ravens. Baltimore forced two fumbles, an interception and Miami’s kicker missed a field goal.

Bears 47-42 over the Bengals: QB Caleb Williams threw the game winning TD, his third of the game and even WR DJ Moore threw a TD pass to Williams. Moore also had one of the team’s two rushing TDs. Despite being hurt QB Joe Flacco did throw four TD passes but three turnovers. They also had a 98 yard return TD.

49ers 34-24 over the Giants: Rookie QB Jaxson Dart did his best with two passing TDs and a rushing TD, but it wasn’t enough as they were down for most of the game. QB Mac Jones had two passing TDs, and RB Christian McCaffrey caught one of those but also had two of the team’s two rushing TDs.

Vikings 27-23 over the Lions: The difference was the Lions getting a field goal blocked late in the game. In his return from injury QB JJ McCarthy had two passing TDs and one rushing TD. QB Jared Goff did have two passing TDs.

Panthers 16-13 over the Packers: The Panthers hit the game winning field as time expired to complete the upset.  RB Rico Dowdle had 130 yards and two rushing TDs for Carolina. RB Josh Jacobs had one rushing TD for Green Bay.

Chargers 27-20 over the Titans: It was all QB Justin Herbert with two passing and one rushing TD. Tennessee scored on a punt return TD and an interception return TD.

Patriots 24-23 over the Falcons: New England led the whole game thanks to QB Drake Maye having two passing TDs and getting a rushing TD from a backup. QB Michael Pennix did have three TD passes for Atlanta but their kicker missed an extra point. 

Steelers 27-20 over the Colts: QB Daniel Jones had six of his team’s seven turnovers which didn’t help them being down the whole game. The Steelers didn’t have to do much with one passing TD from QB Aaron Rodgers and two rushing TDs from Jaylen Warren.

Broncos 18-15 over the Texans: QB Bo Nix had two passing TDs compared to zero from the Texans. Houston got all of their points from their kicker Ka’imi Fairbairn. Will Lutz hit the game winning field goal as time expired.

Jaguars 30-29 over the Raiders(OT): Both teams scored in overtime but since the Raiders missed the two-point conversion they lost. QB Geno Smith had four TD passes and still lost to QB Trevor Lawrence who had two of his team’s three rushing TDs, but no passing TDs.

Rams 34-10 over the Saints: QB Matthew Stafford had four passing TDs and RB Kyren Williams had a rushing TD. Rookie Tyler Shough did have one passing TD.

Bills 28-21 over the Chiefs: QB Josh Allen had two of his team’s rushing TDs and one passing TD compared to zero from QB Patrick Mahomes. KC only had two rushing TDs by Rashee Rice and Kareem Hunt.

Seahawks 38-14 over the Commanders: QB Sam Darnold had four passing TDs compared to zero by QB Jayden Daniels (one rushing TD).

Cardinals 27-17 over the Cowboys: It was all QB Jacob Brissett who had two passing TDs and one rushing TD. Dallas blocked a punt for a TD outside of a garbage time TD pass by Dak Prescott. They also missed a field goal.
