Cardinals 42-34 over
the Saints: QB Andy Dalton threw an early TD pass (one of his
four) to put them up early but that was the last time it mattered as he threw
three interceptions with two of them being returned for a TD. That meant QB Kyler
Murray only had to throw one TD pass and his 3rd string/4th
string RBS each had a rushing TD.
Ravens 23-20 over the
Browns: Both QBs had no TD passes and it came down to two
fumbles one by each team and the Browns missing a game tying field goal. RB Gus
Edwards came back from injury to take the place of JK Dobbins and had two
rushing TDs. For Cleveland both RBs Kareem Hunt and Nick Chubb had rushing TDs.
Panthers 21-3 over the
Buccaneers: In spite of them firing their head coach, trading
away RB Christian McCaffrey, and QB Baker Mayfield being out they held the
Buccaneers to just a field goal. QB PJ Walker had two passing TDs and backup RB
Chuba Hubbard had a rushing TD.
Bengals 35-17 over the
Falcons: The Bengals were up 21-0 and never looked back as QB
Joe Burrow had three passing TDs with a rushing TD, and RB Joe Mixon had a
rushing TD. QB Marcus Maritoa only had one passing TD.
Cowboys 24-6 over the
Lions: In QB Dak Prescott’s return from injury he had one
TD pass and RB Ezekiel Elliot had two rushing TDs. The Lions cannot catch a
break as they were shut out two weeks ago and had a bye week last week as they
only had two field goals.
Giants 23-17 over the
Jaguars: QB Daniel Jones led the Giants to a comeback with
a rushing TD late in the 4th to take the lead, and then kicker
Graham Gano added some extra cherries on top to cushion the lead. Their defense
stopped the Jaguars from scoring from the one yard line as time expired. QB
Trevor Lawrence had a rushing TD one of Jacksonville’s two TDs.
Titans 19-10 over the
Colts: eight punts, two fumbles, two interceptions and five
field goals in this ugly divisional game. QB Matt Ryan did have one TD pass but
he threw two interceptions and one was returned for a TD. Titans kicker Randy Bullock accounted for 13
of their 19 points.
Commanders 23-21 over
the Packers: Washington missed a field goal and QB
Tyler Heinicke was picked off for a TD and Green Bay still lost. QB Aaron
Rodgers did his best to come back in this game with two passing TDs as one of them
was even towards the end of the game.
Jets 16-9 over the
Broncos: This was mostly a field goal game as both QBs had
no passing TDs and Greg Zurelin accounted for 10 of the 16 Jets points. 4th
string RB Latvaius Murry had a rushing TD for Denver and rookie RB Breece Hall
had a rushing TD before he left with an injury for New York.
Raiders 38-20 over the
Texans: It was all RB Josh Jacobs as he had 143 yards
rushing with three rushing TDs and QB Derek Carr had one passing TD. QB Davis
Mils had two passing TDs but threw an interception that was returned for a TD.
Seahawks 37-23 over the
Chargers: QB Geno Smith is keeping it going with two passing
TDs, and RB Kenneth Walker had two rushing TDs for 168 yards rushing as they
were up 17-0 and didn’t look back. QB Justin Herbert did his best in a comeback
attempt with passing TDs one to RB Austin Ekeler who also had a rushing TD but
it wasn’t enough.
Chiefs 44-23 over the
49ers: QB Patrick Mahomes had three passing TDs, Clyde
Edwards Helaire had a rushing TD, and WR Mecole Hardman had two rushing TDs and
one of the Mahomes passing TDs. Both QBs for the 49ers had interceptions as
kicker Robbie Gould accounted for 11 of their 23 points.
Dolphins 16-10 over the
Steelers: Miami’s defense picked off QB Kenny Pickett three
times and kicker Jason Sanders scored 10 of their 16 points.
Bears 33-14 over the
Patriots: QB Justin Fields had a passing and rushing TD plus
RB David Montgomery had a rushing TD too. QB Mac Jones was benched with one interception
for Bailey Zappe who had two interceptions but had one TD pass.
Bye Week: Bills, Rams, Vikings & Eagles.
