Bengals 33-31 over the
Steelers: The Bengals hit the game winning field goal as
time expired to beat their divisional rivals. In a battle of 40-something year
old QBS Aaron Rodgers had four passing TDs and QB Joe Flacco had three passing
TDs. Evan McPherson who hit the game winning field goal for Cincinnati
accounted for 15 of their points.
Rams 35-7 over the
Jaguars: It was all Rams in London as QB Matthew Stafford
had five TD passes; Jacksonville could only muster one TD in garbage time.
Bears 26-14 over the
Saints: In a game
where QB Caleb Williams got outplayed by his counterpart who had two passing
TDs compared to his zero, the Bears still won convincingly. QB Spencer Rattler
had two passing TDs but three interceptions and their kicker missed a field
goal. It was all the running game as RB D’Andre Swift had 124 yards rushing
with a TD and a backup added another rushing TD. Jake Moody accounted for 14 of
their points in his second straight game.
Browns 31-6 over the
Dolphins: It was all RB Quinshon Judkins who had three
rushing TDs for the Browns. Miami had six fumbles and three interceptions total
with one of those interceptions being returned for a TD.
Patriots 31-13 over the
Titans: QB Drake Maye helped his HC Mike Vrabel get
revenge on the team that fired him by throwing two TD passes with no turnovers.
For the Titans after firing their offensive minded head coach all they could
muster was one TD pass from rookie QB Cam Ward, but with two turnovers with one
being returned for a TD.
Chiefs 31-0 over the
Raiders: QB Patrick Mahomes had three TD passes with two
going to WR Rashee Rice who was back from suspension, and RB Isaiah Pacheo had
a rushing TD. Their defense held the Raiders scoreless with two fumbles for a
total of 70 yards passing and 25 yards rushing.
Eagles 28-22 over the
Vikings: For the Eagles, QB Jalen Hurts had three passing
TDs, two going to WR AJ Brown. Their defense forced two fumbles and two
interceptions with one being returned for a TD, while only really allowing the
kicker to shine as Will Reichard accounted for 16 of the Vikings’ points.
Panthers 13-6 over the
Jets:
Even with benching QB Justin Fields for QB Tyod Taylor their offense didn’t
show up as Taylor had two interceptions. Their defense held an opponent to only
13 points for the second straight game but that is why they are winless. QB
Bryce Young had a passing TD for Carolina.
Broncos 33-32 over the
Giants: Wil Lutz hit the game winning field as time
expired to seal the game for Denver. QB Bo Nix had two passing and two rushing
TDs for Denver, but the interesting thing was New York was up 19-0 entering the
4th quarter before Denver came back. Rookie QB Jaxson Dart had three passing
TDs and a rushing TD but their kicker missed two extra points/they failed to
convert a two point conversion.
Cowboys 44-22 over the
Commanders: QB Dak Prescott had three passing TDs and RB
Javonte Williams had a rushing TD for Dallas. Washington only got a passing and
rushing TD from QB Jayden Daniels as they were down the whole game but they did
get a safety by tackling a Cowboy in the end zone. Dallas picked off QB Marcus
Mariota and returned it for a TD.
Colts 38-24 over the
Chargers: RB Jonathan Taylor ran all over the Chargers for
three TDs to help them lead early and never looked back. QB Daniel Jones did
add two passing TDs. Chargers QB Justin Herbert had three passing TDs but also
two interceptions.
Packers 27-23 over the
Cardinals: RB Josh Jacobs scored the go-ahead rushing TD to
seal the win for Green Bay, his second of the game. Backup QB Jacoby Brissett
did his best with two passing TDs both to TE Trey McBride.
49ers 20-10 over the
Falcons: It was all RB Christian McCaffrey who had 125
yards rushing with two rushing TDs. QB Michael Pennix Jr. did throw a TD pass
late for the Falcons.
Lions 24-9 over the
Buccaneers: RB Jaymir Gibbs ran all over Tampa Bay for 136
yards with two rushing TDs. QB Baker Mayfield did have one TD for the
Buccaneers but had two turnovers.
Seahawks 27-19 over the
Texans: The Seahawks led 14-6 at halftime and never looked
back. RB Zach Charbonnet had two rushing TDs and QB Sam Darnold had one passing
TD. QB CJ Stroud only one TD for the Texans and they recovered a fumble in the
end zone for a TD.
